Tom Daley looks dapper as he cosies up to husband Dustin at the GQ Men of the Year Awards

Professional diver Tom Daley enjoyed a date night at the GQ Men of the Year Awards with husband Dustin Lance Black in London on Wednesday.

The 28-year-old Olympic gold medalist looked dapper in a black plaid jacket and jewel-embellished sweater as he stepped into Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park.

Tom paired up with screenwriter Dustin, 48, who looked hot in a tailored black suit.

Tom wore his knitwear with black trousers and accessories such as gloves, shiny boots and carried a black handbag.

Dustin, who is known for writing the movie Milk, for which he won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay in 2009, looked good in his suit which he paired with a black shirt underneath and a beaded necklace.

The couple appeared in high spirits as they stepped outside, and at one point Dustin looked lovingly like his partner on the red carpet.

Celebrities nominated on the night include rapper Stormzy, 29, Squid Game’s Lee Jung-jae, 49, and Hollywood actress Zoë Kravitz, 33, who make the mark.

Olympic gold medalist Sir Mo Farrah, 39, also received praise after his acclaimed BBC documentary in which he revealed he was smuggled into the UK as a child.

Other stars on the list this year include Top Boy, 40, and Game of Thrones’ Ashley Walters and Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn, 28, who famously played Eddie Munson in the Netflix series.

Each of the 26 honored stars also graced their own solo Men’s magazine cover, which was unveiled ahead of the ceremony.

The evening was held at the luxury hotel located in the heart of Knightsbridge in London with spectacular views over Hyde Park.

Revelers were treated to a lavish dinner by celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal and Tom Kerridge before heading to the glamorous after party.

The glossy magazine announced in a post earlier this month what the famous faces will receive in their chic gift bags.

With a whole host of treats including everything from £599 Bowers & Wilkins headphones to The Ivy club membership – which costs a cool £1750.
