Tom Cruise tames his wild locks as he cuts a dapper figure in navy suit for night out with pals in London after Mission Impossible filming gets back on track

Tom Cruise cut a dapper figure as he enjoyed a night out at Loulou’s private club in Mayfair on Friday.

The Hollywood superstar looked dapper in a crisp navy blue suit which he teamed with a white polo shirt with an open collar.

The actor, 61, tamed his wild locks after debuting his newly highlighted impressive head of hair earlier this week.

Tom was spotted landing at London’s Battersea Heliport after flying to the runway in his own helicopter on Friday. He has had his pilot’s license since 1994 and owns several aircraft.

The star appeared to be struggling with strong winds as his long locks blew in all directions, but by evening he had his mane perfectly styled and brushed.

The star arrived in London by private jet from Florida earlier this week as filming resumed for Mission Impossible 8.

Tom had visited the hairdresser and had a noticeably lighter, accentuated look than the darker hairdo he had in the summer photo.

Filming for the eighth installment – likely to be called Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two – has restarted after the actor’s strike delayed production.

Tom is no doubt eager to get back to work on the production after it had to be postponed due to the actor’s strike.

But it has been delayed by almost a year as studios have been forced to adjust release dates following the actors’ strike.

Instead, Paramount Pictures has moved A Quiet Place: Day One to the slot, starring Emily Blunt.

Paramount has had to adjust film release dates because the SAG-AFTRA actors’ strike is still ongoing, although the WGA writers’ strike has come to an end.

The Mission: Impossible film series, which begins in 1996, is based on a 1966 television series of the same name.

Production on the eighth film was originally halted so the cast could promote part one, but then the strike began causing further delays.
