Tom Cruise surprised fans when he appeared at the European premiere of Twisters in London on Monday night.
The 62-year-old Hollywood star stepped out to support his Maverick colleague Glen Powell and posed for photos at Cineworld Leicester Square.
Glen, who played Jake ‘Hangman’ Seresin in the Top Gun sequel, will play ‘tornado wrangler’ Tyler Owens, who must deal with a particularly catastrophic tornado in the upcoming thriller Twisters.
Upon arriving in the capital, Tom snapped a photo with his co-star and captioned the Instagram post: “Nice evening with friends watching a movie!!’

Glen looked handsome in a black suit with white piping, an open shirt and dark red patent leather shoes.
Tom wore a white t-shirt with a suede bomber jacket and smart trousers.
A trailer for the film was released in May, showing an Oklahoma rodeo with an audience watching a bull rider, followed by a storm siren.
The animals fled with the crowd and a truck trying to drive away from the chaos was lifted by the wind and thrown into an electric billboard.
“A once-in-a-generation tornado outbreak continues to rage in Oklahoma,” a TV weatherman reported. Kate Cooper, played by 25-year-old English actress Daisy Edgar Jones, was watching the storm from a distance at a federal weather agency.
A supervisor called Kate for tornado assistance after he admitted he had never seen tornadoes like this before.
“No, I don’t hunt anymore,” Kate said.
When told her help could save lives, Kate reluctantly agreed to give him a week.
Kate went to Oklahoma with NASA and FEMA experts and was surprised when Tyler Owens, played by Glen, a self-proclaimed “tornado expert,” arrived.
“If you feel it,” Tyler told his adoring fans. “Follow it!” they shouted back.

Twisters is expected to hit theaters on July 19 (Glen is seen in the trailer)
At the end of the broadcast it was stated that Universal Pictures is partnering with the American Red Cross to help people affected by disasters.
Twisters will be in theaters from July 19th.
Directed by Lee Isaac Chung, the film also stars Anthony Ramos, alongside Brandon Perea, Maura Tierney, Sasha Lane, Kiernan Shipka and Paul Scheer.
Twisters is a sequel to the 1996 film Twister starring Helen Hunt, Bill Paxton, Jami Gertz and Cary Elwes.
