And Tom Cruise looked cheerful after flying himself to London by helicopter on Sunday to seemingly continue filming in the UK.

The 60-year-old actor was always the lord when he helped his opponent Pom Klementieff out of the helicopter.

Tom reached out to help the 36-year-old actress out of the passenger seat and onto the tarmac.

Tom, who plays Mission Impossible team leader Ethan Hunt, piloted the helicopter himself to movie studios in Chertsey, Surrey.

He has had his pilot’s license since 1994 and owns several aircraft and was seen at the helm when he landed.

“I also enjoy walking the same streets as Shakespeare, Dickens and even The Beatles. That’s really cool.’

Tom added: ‘I think I’m an Anglophile. I spend a lot of time in the UK and it’s not just for work reasons. I just love being here.’

The actor spent a lot of summer in the UK and was spotted at the Queen’s Jubilee, a women’s final at Wimbledon and concerts by The Rolling Stones and Adele in Hyde Park.
