Tom Brady takes Hollywood! NFL great and budding film producer’s 14,000-square-foot Brentwood mansion nears completion in one of LA’s priciest neighborhoods

Tom Brady transforms himself into a movie mogul, and he does so in one of Los Angeles’ most exclusive neighborhoods.

The documentary film producer and future Hall of Famer is currently building a home in Hollywood-adjacent Brentwood — and photos of the 14,000-square-foot palace were obtained by DailyMail.com.

Much of the property is still a work in progress, including the backyard and outdoor pool. The home makes good use of Southern California’s famous sunshine with an array of solar panels and a glass atrium.

The 46-year-old divorced father of three started building in 2020 when he launched his studio, 199 Productions, which takes its name from Brady’s selection in the 2000 NFL Draft. Since then, the company has made three films, all of which revolve around a former quarterback for the New England Patriots: ’80 For Brady’, ‘Man in the Arena’ and ‘The Tuck Rule’.

Brady is not new to Brentwood. In 2008, he and his now-former wife Gisele Bündchen reportedly paid $11.75 million for land, which was used to build a mansion that they later sold to rapper Dr. Dre sold for a reported $40 million.

The neighborhood went from famous to infamous in 1994, when legendary Buffalo Bills running back OJ Simpson was accused of killing his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and her boyfriend, Ronald Goldman. Since then, Simpson’s nearby former mansion has been demolished and he died in Las Vegas in April at the age of 76.

The Brentwood mansion is just one of Brady’s current construction projects.

As he prepares for a new career as an in-game commentator for Fox Sports’ NFL coverage, Brady is also completing a mansion in Miami’s “Billionaire Bunker.”

As seen in aerial photos DailyMail.com published in April from above Indian Creek, a man-made barrier island in Miami-Dade County, Brady’s new $17 million mansion features an enviable garden, home to a variety of vegetables and flowers appear to grow in eight congruent gardens. rectangular plots. Other Indian Creek residents include Jeff Bezos and Julio Iglesias, as well as Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.

It remains unclear whether Brady did the honors himself or whether the retired NFL star enlisted some area gardeners to handle the heavy lifting.

Of course, the Michigan alum is no stranger to healthy eating. Through his brand, TB12, Brady has promoted a primarily plant-based diet that includes a number of anti-inflammatory foods.

According to Brady, the diet is “common sense.”

He eats meat, although “not that much,” he told his TB12 website.

“If anything, I subscribe to balance,” he said.

Brady and ex-wife Gisele Bündchen bought the house together four years ago and the property is finally nearing completion – almost a year after DailyMail.com published exclusive photos of the ongoing construction.

In the time since, Brady’s home on Indian Creek Island has changed considerably, with several amenities added to the massive home.

New photos show Brady having his own dock built on the water, not far from his home.

Additionally, the seven-time Super Bowl winner has built a pickleball court, with basketball hoops on both sides.

DailyMail.com previously revealed that the quarterback, reportedly worth well over $500 million, did not invest anything in purchasing the property, opting instead to take out a mortgage for the full amount plus the option to borrow an additional $17 million to borrow.

When he and Bündchen parted ways in October 2022, Brady took on the building’s renovations, while Bündchen moved on to purchase her own property across the waterway.

Before the split, Bündchen had paid $1.3 million for a three-bedroom waterfront home in Surfside, which she had renovated, according to construction documents.

The 43-year-old then spent $11.5 million on a five-bed, 600 sq ft property, a few doors down from the smaller home and opposite her former husband’s home.

After a legendary playing career in the NFL, Brady hung up the shoe for the second and final time in February 2023.

But he will soon be back in the spotlight as an NFL analyst for Fox Sports.

He signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with the network and will begin calling games this fall.

Even at 46 years old, Brady is still in great physical shape. In March, he ran a faster 40-yard dash time than when he was just 22.

In a video shared on social media, Brady explains how he ran the 40-yard dash in 5.28 seconds at the NFL Combine, a poor mark before he was drafted in the sixth round.

Brady had two friends time him during the flight: one registered him at 5.18 and another stopped the clock at 5.12.
