Tom Brady admitted that he still has a lot to learn about English football, but if nothing else, he knows how to kick a ball.
Images of the NFL’s top quarterback posing for photos in a Birmingham jersey surfaced on social media Thursday, hours after his shock investment was announced.
And at the end of the clip, which appears to be staged, Brady puts down a football he was holding and kicks it at the person filming it. They then fall over and seem to drop their camera.
Brady, who also turned 46 on Thursday, shocked the sporting world with his announcement of a foray into English football.
“So here’s the deal, I’m officially on board with Birmingham City Football Club,” Brady said in a video posted to social media.

‘And you may be asking what do you know about English football, Tom? Let’s just say I still have a lot to learn.
“But I do know a few things about winning, and I think they translate quite well.”
Last year, Birmingham finished 17th out of 24 teams in the Championship, the second tier of English football.
Birmingham coach John Eustace has said success with the team will be a process.
On Wednesday, he said: “The club has been taken over by some very passionate and powerful people and they care deeply. They want to grow this club and make it a force.
“That’s going to happen over time, it’s not in a short period of time. It’s done in two, three, four or five years. Eventually it will be there.’
Birmingham will play its first game of the new Championship season on Saturday visiting Welsh team Swansea.
