Tom Brady is excited about his friend Harry Kane’s latest move following his move to Bayern Munich.
Brady, a recent investor in Birmingham City, was in England this weekend to watch the club’s victory over Leeds and was Sky Sports news for his thoughts on Kane’s £100 million ($127 million) move to Bavaria.
“Harry’s been a friend of mine for a while,” Brady said. We were supposed to meet Monday morning and then plans quickly changed. But very excited for him.
“He was part of a great club at Tottenham and he’s going to another great club. And I think he wanted to participate in that Champions League and he’s getting the chance to do that.’
Kane’s transfer naturally ended his 19-year stay at Tottenham, where he became a Spurs legend with a club record 280 goals.

However, the club has struggled to reach the same heights they reached in the 2019 Champions League final, and Kane acknowledged that his trophy hunger led him to eventually leave Spurs.
“It will always be a difficult decision,” he said at his first Bayern Munich press conference on Sunday. Tottenham is a club that is close to my heart. But I want to win titles and felt it was the right time.
“I’ve always wanted to push my limits and see how far that could take me. I want to fight for the Champions League, I want to fight for titles. I look forward to that challenge.’
Kane, a famous NFL fan, revealed to Jimmy Fallon last year on “The Tonight Show” how he and Brady became friends.

While Brady certainly taught Kane a thing or two about American football, Kane can certainly borrow some of his knowledge from him as Brady embarks on his new adventure with Birmingham.
The quarterback immersed himself in the experience on Saturday when he visited a local pub to greet Birmingham fans.
Kane, meanwhile, made his Bayern debut from the bench in the DFL-Supercup vs. RB Leipzig as his side suffered a surprise 3-0 defeat.
