Tom Brady has once again closed the door on a return to the National Football League despite continued media rumors and conspiracy theories.

The 45-year-old announced his second and seemingly final retirement on Feb. 1, a year after his first.

“I’m sure I’m not playing anymore so I’ve tried to make that clear and I hate to keep professing that because I’ve told people that many times,” Brady said. Sports illustrated.

“I’m looking forward to my temp job at my FOX next year. I’m looking forward to the opportunity ahead of us with the Raiders — and we’re working on that along with the other various things I’m involved in professionally.”

Brady reportedly got the “blessing” from FOX to investigate investments in the Las Vegas Raiders.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion was free to explore the possibility, he said ESPNwith Seth Wickersham and Adam Schefter suggesting his mega 10-year $375 million deal with the broadcaster would remain ‘untouched’.

The sale has been agreed and submitted to the NFL for approval, which could take some time. There are no plans to discuss the sale at the upcoming spring meeting, per Albert Breer’s report.

The size and cost of Brady’s interest have not been disclosed. Spokespersons for the team did not respond to DailyMail.com’s request for confirmation. Brady has already invested in another team from Davis: the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces.
