Future NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady said he loved the fire he saw from Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes during the 20-14 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day.

Brady specifically referenced a clip of an angry-looking Mahomes trying to motivate his offensive linemen on the sideline during the loss.

'I like the way Patrick handles it. Believe me with the confidence that he is a player. I don't think he thinks anyone can really stop him,” Brady said during an episode of the series “Let's podcast.”

“I still believe in what the Chiefs are doing in that regard. And I will never bet against someone like Patrick, because I think he is such a phenomenal player and leader.'

Mahomes' fiery attempt at leadership may have backfired, however, as just moments later the Chiefs offense surrendered back-to-back defensive touchdowns in an NFL-record seven seconds.

Mahomes ultimately finished the first half against the Raiders with just 97 passing yards, while also throwing a pick six just moments after an equally costly fumble.

After surrendering the two touchdowns to the Raiders defense, Kansas City entered the half trailing 17-7.

Mahomes also let his emotions shine brightly when he was fined $50,000 after throwing his helmet on the ground and yelling at the officials for an offside call against the Buffalo Bills.

His frustration during the win against the Patriots two weeks ago, after throwing his helmet again after an interception, he threw at New England linebacker Marte Mapu.

Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs are struggling on offense this year, leading NFL analyst Danny Kanell to go so far as to say this is the worst season of the 28-year-old QB's career.
