Tom Brady leads 55th career game-winning drive in Rams win

Tom Brady and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers team finally recovered by sealing a dramatic comeback win over the Los Angeles Rams in Florida on Sunday night.
The entire team has been under pressure this season due to underperformance and ultimately poor results.
But tonight Brady, who last week confirmed his divorce from his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen, led the charge for a sensational 16-13 win over the defending Super Bowl champions.
Not only did he become the first quarterback in NFL history to throw 100,000 yards, counting playoff games, but led a last-minute drive to break the Bucs’ three-game losing streak.
He didn’t hold back his excitement to win as he walked into his post-match press conference and after hitting the table with his hands, he said, “That was great.
“That was damn great.”

It seemed that Brady and Co. suffered another defeat when Scotty Miller dropped a game-winning touchdown late.
But Brady, who has struggled both on and off the field this season, led his 55th game-winning drive in his career to turn the game around. Number 55 is the most in NFL history, beating legend Peyton Manning.
The late rally was also Brady’s 43rd comeback in the fourth quarter, leveling him with Manning for the most ever.
The game-winning drive lasted 44 seconds, included zero timeouts and ended with Brady finding rookie tight end Cade Otton for a 1-yard touchdown pass with just nine seconds left.
Brady completed 36 of 58 passes for 280 yards, while the Buccaneers won for the second time in seven games.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion hit the 100,000 yards milestone with a 15-yard completion to run Leonard Fournette back in the fourth quarter.
The future Hall of Famer holds an array of NFL records, including most completions and touchdown passes, and is one of only two starting quarterbacks to have won the Super Bowl with two different teams after spending most of his career with the New England Patriots had spent.
Past performances and results have raised the question of whether Brady should have reversed his decision to retire earlier this year.
Off the field Brady and supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen, 42, confirmed their divorce last week
Brady announced that he was retiring from the NFL in February, only to turn around and reverse the decision a few weeks later.
Last week, Brady, 45, and Bundchen, 42, confirmed their divorce after weeks of speculation.
Many believed that Brady’s return to the NFL became a point of contention for Bundchen. A source confirmed to DailyMail.com in late September that their physical separation was unaffected by Brady’s move to rejoin his beloved sport.
Brady and Bundchen announced their divorce on October 28. The Bucs star said it had been a “difficult” and “painful” decision the couple made after “a lot of consideration”.
Gisele said, “Ending a marriage is never easy… we’ve grown apart.” She said she “wishes the best” for Brady, but confirmed the couple had “grown apart.”
Brady and Bundchen confirmed their separation in Instagram statements on October 28. She said her priority had “always” been the kids, but said the couple had “grown apart.” In his statement, Brady said the decision was “painful and difficult.”
“I feel blessed with the time we’ve had together and always wish Tom the best,” she said.
Both said they would continue to co-parent their two children.” The couple are expected to share custody of their two children, Vivian, nine, and Benjamin, 12. Tom also has a third son, 15-year-old son Jack with ex Bridget Moynahan.
Brady’s display against the Rams caused social media to go wild on Sunday night as the quarterback dominated football headlines.
Fox Sports pundit Skip Bayless said on Twitter: “Just when I thought it was impossible, Tom Brady did it AGAIN.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if Tom Brady plays for a few more seasons.”
ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith added on Twitter, “This man @TomBrady. He’s just something special. Game over – but it’s not yet again. Pulls @Buccaneers from the dead, drives the damned 60 yards downfield in under a minute and takes this out against the @RamsNFL. #Unreal.’
Brady added after the game: “We needed it. We got it, we fought to the end. Defense played great, we made some moves offensively. I know we’ve left a few behind, but it’s a strong team.”
The Bucs are now leading the NFC South after ending their miserable run and will face the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.
