Tom Brady has yet to decide his future with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers despite the Glazer family’s desperation to keep him, according to reports.

The Buccaneers are preparing for their NFL Wild Card Playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night, but ahead of the game there is uncertainty about the future of Brady, whose $15 million contract is set to expire.

At 45 years of age, some wonder if the legendary quarterback will say goodbye to Tampa Bay after three years or simply retire from the sport altogether.

According to NFL Network’s Sara Walshthe Glazer family, which owns both the Bucs and Premier League side Manchester United, will do everything in their power to ensure Brady signs a new contract and extends his stay for a while longer.

But the Glazer family, which has owned the Bucs since 1995, will do everything they can to keep him.

However, it is believed that the seven-time Super Bowl winner is still not sure what his next move will be, and if the Bucs suffer a loss against the Cowboys on Monday night, he will take some time to decide his future.

If he decides to leave Tampa Bay and continue his NFL career, it’s unlikely Brady will run out of offers at the end of the season.

The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly hoping to recapture him when his contract expires, and CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones claims they plan to be “very aggressive” in trying to reach a deal this spring.

Brady is out of contract with the Bucs, who face the Dallas Cowboys in their NFL Wildcard playoff Monday night season finale.

Jones said the “prevailing belief” is that he will stay out of retirement for at least another year, which would give the Raiders optimism of taking him to the desert.

One of the main reasons Brady is linked to the Raiders is his head coach Josh McDaniels, who was his offensive coordinator for several years with the New England Patriots.

You would also be familiar with general manager Dave Ziegler since he also spent a considerable amount of time with the Patriots.

Brady spent the first 19 years of his NFL career with New England, leading the franchise to its six Super Bowl victories before leaving for Tampa Bay in 2020.

The Las Vegas Raiders, currently led by Josh McDaniels, Brady’s former New England Patriots coach, are eager to bring him to the desert this spring.

He holds nearly every quarterback record in the game, including most touchdown passes and completions.

The San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans are also being linked with moves for Brady, though the Glazers hope to avoid interest from elsewhere and tie him to a new deal.

The Glazer family first acquired the Bucs in 1995, with Avram and Joel assuming full control since the death of their father Malcolm in 2014.

They have also spent the last two decades at the helm of Manchester United, where supporters have been protesting against their ownership for several years.

United fans have often criticized the Glazers for taking dividend payments from the club while running up huge debts, with protests even taking place at their Old Trafford ground in 2021.
