Tom Brady dresses as the grim reaper for Halloween following amicable split from Gisele Bundchen

Tom Brady took to Twitter on Tuesday morning, mocking critics as he celebrated Halloween with his children, after revealing that the end of his marriage to Gisele Bundchen was “amicable.”
At a time familiar to many dads in the US, Brady took part in the spooky festivities.
Though presumably unlike most 45-year-olds, dressed as the Grim Reaper, no doubt referring to recent commentary that he should have been retired from the NFL.
“Insert a grim joke here…Happy Halloween,” Brady wrote on Elon Musk’s social media platform on Tuesday.
Brady shared the photo with his son Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9, as the threesome went trick-or-treating.
The 45-year-old referred to a desire to stay incognito earlier in the day on Halloween on his SiriusXM podcast Let’s Go! with Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray.

“Hopefully I’ll be a little anonymous tonight so the kids can really enjoy themselves,” Brady told Gray.
“It can get a little hectic, and if it does, I’ll come back home. But I hope tonight I can just be another dad on the street in a cool costume.
The former New England Patriot also has a 15-year-old son, John, commonly called Jack, who he shares with ex-partner, Bridget Moynahan.
On Monday, Brady spoke about his divorce from wife Gisele Bundchen on his first podcast since the couple confirmed the end of their marriage.
The veteran quarterback also opened up the underperforming Tampa Bay Buccaneers who are currently two games under .500 at 305.

Brady admitted the situation with Bundchen is “very amicable” amid reports “he really tried to mend their marriage.”
“I think there are a lot of professionals in life who go through things that they deal with at work and that they go through at home,” he said.
“The good news is of course that it is a very friendly situation and I really focus on two things, taking care of my family and certainly taking care of my children and secondly doing my best to win football matches.
‘So that’s what professionals do. You focus on your work when it’s time to work, and when you get home, you focus on the priorities that are at home. All you can do is the best you can do.

Before his divorce from Bundchen, Brady tried to ‘really fix’ their marriage, a source told People.
It was “too little, too late,” a person close to the footballer and supermodel, 42, told the outlet.
The update comes as the mother of two is reportedly “doing well” after announcing their split.
The source added that the sports star was “trying to make things work and make things right.”
“But at that point it was a bit too little, too late,” the person revealed. “She’s given him a lot of opportunities to work things out, but he hasn’t.”
Pressing Brady further on his split in the weekly podcast, Gray asked: “Is there a challenge to compartmentalize between the two?”
“Well, I guess that’s what a professional is. I’ve been through a lot of challenging situations on and off the field over the past 23 years, and a lot of it plays out for a lot of people,” the quarterback replied.
“So it’s, I think the interesting thing for a football player, or an athlete in general, is, you know, you’re out there, I always say we’re not actors. Even though we’re on TV, you know, that’s our real selves out there. We try to do our best. That’s how people really got to know me over the years, by being on TV.
Brady and Bundchen confirmed their separation Friday in Instagram statements. She said her priority had “always” been the kids, but said the couple had “grown apart.” In his statement, Brady said the decision was “painful and difficult.”
Tom and Gisele married in 2009 first in a quiet ceremony in Santa Monica, California, and then in Costa Rica, surrounded by friends and family. She was a Victoria’s Secret bombshell and he was a star player for the New England Patriots

‘We do our best. I have wonderful parents who have always taught me the right way to do things. I want to be a great father to my kids and also always try to do things the right way.
And if you want to tackle things in your life with challenges, you want to deal with them in the best possible way. So I always want to be able to keep my head high on and off the field, and I’m going to try to keep doing that as long as I’m here.”
Brady announced that he was retiring from the NFL in February, only to turn around and reverse the decision a few weeks later.

After the Buccaneers’ three-game loss streak, many analysts and former players have suggested that Brady should have retired, or that his career was on the brink of a sad end.
Former NFL wideout Nate Burleson was just one of many; “Tom should have retired. Am I the only one who thinks that?’, he continued Good Morning Football from NFL Network Friday.
“The rhythm isn’t there. The juice is not there. And he just doesn’t look like the Tom Brady of yesteryear – he looks like an older Tom Brady.”
Many believed that Brady’s return to the NFL became a point of contention for Bundchen. A source confirmed to DailyMail.com in late September that their physical separation was unaffected by Brady’s move to rejoin his beloved sport.
Brady and Bundchen announced their divorce on Friday. The Bucs star said it had been a “difficult” and “painful” decision the couple made after “a lot of consideration”.

Gisele, 42, said: “Ending a marriage is never easy… we have grown apart.” She said she “wishes the best” for Brady, but confirmed the couple had “grown apart.”

Both said they would continue to co-parent their two children.” The couple are expected to share custody of their two children, Vivian, nine, and Benjamin, 12. Tom also has a third son, 15-year-old son Jack with ex Bridget Moynahan.
Brady has also tackled the Bucs’ problems this season with their 3-5 record – the first time he’s been in that situation in his career.
‘I’m glad it’s unknown. I want this to be as unknown as possible. Losing sucks and we put a lot into winning just like any team. And no one feels sorry for the Bucs,” he added in the same podcast.
Star quarterback Brady also touched on the NFC South team’s problems in recent weeks
“We know that and we have to change it. So I think the attitude is, there is no surrender. There is no one shying away from the challenge. We have faced setbacks before. We all have. You face setbacks in your professional life.
‘You have to deal with adversity in other aspects of life. It all builds resilience and you learn to deal with the setbacks and hopefully they make you stronger.
“So we’re going out this week and we’re going to try to be the best we can this week. Who cares what happened in the past eight weeks?
“Our record is what it is. We don’t change it. We can’t change any game we’ve had. All we can do is learn from the past eight weeks and try to apply them in a winning way this week.
“And you know, it’s a big challenge for us. So let’s see what we’re made of. And I think time will tell.’
