Tom Brady congratulated Novak Djokovic after world No. 1’s 23rd Grand Slam title win at The French Open.

On Sunday, 45-year-old Brady attended the Serbian superstar’s three-set win against Caspar Ruud in the final of the tournament before later sharing a cheery post on Instagram.

“Congratulations my friend,” the seven-time Super Bowl champion shared alongside a photo of the Djokovic clan celebrating at Roland Garros.

“The best part was seeing how much your family loves and supports you!”

Brady sat next to Djokovic’s wife of nine years, Jelena, in the stands of Phillippe-Chartier court for the championship game.

Djokovic and Jelena have been married since 2014 and have two children together, a boy, Stefan, who was named after the tennis player’s father, and Tara.

Brady is also in France to attend the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans race, which featured NBA star LeBron James. The Lakers forward even showed off his language skills by reading the starting signal for the drivers.

Brady also showed that he still has his quarterback abilities on the same day of the French Open final, taking on a challenge from American YouTuber MrBeast.

In a clip shared by the NFL, Brady attempted to smash one of MrBeast’s drones into the sea from the deck of the yacht. He warmed up his winning pitching arm before his daughter Vivian, 10, jokingly told him, “Dad, you’re going to miss.”

The NFL icon laughed and admitted he probably would, but joked that if he hit the drone on the first try, “maybe I should retire.” And of course Brady did just that.

For his next trick, Brady tried to make a pass at a man who was racing towards the yacht on a jet ski. Again, Brady was on target, but his wide receiver was not up to NFL standards and dropped the ball in the water.

Retired Brady, now a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, is widely regarded as the NFL’s “Greatest Of All Time” – or “GOAT” for short – and there has been a long-standing debate in the tennis world about which under Djokovic, Nadal or Federer who deserves a nickname.

If the barometer is Grand Slam championships, no one can dispute Djokovic’s status at this point.

“I leave those kinds of discussions about ‘who is the greatest?’ to someone else. I obviously have tremendous faith and confidence and believe (in) myself and for all that I am and who I am and what I am capable of,” Djokovic said at his press conference, the Coupes des Mousquetaires at arm’s length on Sunday.

“So, of course, this trophy is another confirmation of the quality of tennis I can still produce, I think.”
