Tom Brady and his 11-year-old daughter Vivian were in the French crowd on Monday to cheer on gymnast Simone Biles as she competed in the final two Olympic events of her stay in Paris.
Biles failed to win gold in either event, but concluded her Olympic program in Paris with a silver medal on the floor exercise, minutes after appearing to injure herself during the warm-up.
A fall by Biles on the balance beam was her only event in Paris where she did not make the podium.
Still, fans have joked about Brady and Biles’ abilities in their respective sports, saying the former New England Patriots’ presence in France has made for “GOAT watching GOAT!”
Brady is a seven-time Super Bowl champion who retired from the NFL last year. Biles holds the most medals for an American gymnast in history, including seven gold.

Biles’ legendary Paris tour ended with a minor fizzle in her final two events
Biles ends her third Olympic Games with a total of 11 medals. Without the “turns” of the Tokyo Olympics three years ago, that number would have been more than a dozen.
Brady has been in Europe for the past few days, celebrating his 47th birthday on a boat with his friend and billionaire Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin.
During Biles’ performance at the Bercy Arena, Brady visibly stood with his mouth wide open and said “Wow” several times.
All three of Brady’s children were in Sardinia for the festivities. Vivian and her older brother Benjamin, 14, were welcomed into the world with his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen.
Brady’s eldest son, Jack, 16, was from a previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan, known for her roles in ‘Blue Bloods’ and the ‘John Wick’ series.
Brady’s appearance at the Olympics comes a month before he begins his role as a commentator for Fox Sports during the NFL season.
Biles’s stellar start to the Paris Games, with gold medals in the team, all-around and vault events, came to an end on Monday.
The 27-year-old gymnast failed to win a medal on the balance beam and lost to Rebeca Andrade on the floor exercise, ending what could be her final Olympic event.
While the end of Brady’s career is certain, Biles’ future is uncertain.
She will be 31 years old when the next Summer Olympics are held in Los Angeles.
Retiring after the global event in her home country may be too tempting to pass up. But four years is a long time to wait for a semi-coronation.
