Tom Brady broke not one, but two tablets in Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ fiery 20-10 win over NFC South rival, New Orleans.
During Sunday’s game, Brady was furiously slammed with a tablet as his team in Tampa Bay struggled for offensive continuity.
According to ESPN NFL insider, Adam Scheftermore than one tablet came to an end at Brady’s hand.
In fact, three tablets broke on Bucs’ sidelines – two reportedly by Brady – in a tense NFC South matchup, with the road team’a shortage of tablets.’
It is now the second time Brady has broken a tablet(s) while playing for the New Orleans Saints after throwing the Microsoft device in a 9-0 loss in December 2021.
“I try to make sure I don’t throw my arm out when I throw it away,” Brady said jokingly on Monday during his weekly Let’s go podcasting. “But I was pretty p***ed yesterday.”
Brady and the Buccaneers, propelled largely by their defense, were able to defeat the Saints
“Unfortunately, I’ve had a pretty bad track record against that tablet. I forgot the password and I couldn’t log in, so those things can be frustrating,” Brady joked again.
“I didn’t do very well (keep calm), and I need to be very aware of that in the future and get my emotions in a good place so that I can be the best player I can be. ‘
Brady will hope to be unflappable in the lead up to the Bucs’ ravishing game against Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers on late Sunday afternoon.
However, his patience will be tested after receiver Mike Evans’ one-game suspension for pushing Saints corner Marshon Lattimore away.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans has been banned for one game for his role in an on-field brawl during Sunday’s win over rival Saints in New Orleans on Week 2 of the season
Evans appealed the decision, which was heard Tuesday by James Thrash, who was appointed jointly by the NFL and the NFLPA.
Thrash heard back Evans’ previous appeal when he was suspended for another on-field altercation with Lattimore in 2017 and also upheld that verdict.
Evans was kicked out of the game in the fourth quarter before the Bucs went on to win.
