Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski were photographed with Jamie Foxx and other sports greats after the FOX Upfronts event in New York City.

After the event on May 13, Foxx shared a group photo with Brady, Gronkowski, Deion Sanders, Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez backstage.

The Beat Shazam host countered the group photo with a photo of himself and Sanders and another with Jeter joining the frame. Foxx also showed appreciation for the company he worked for.

“Blessed company by goat herd,” he captioned the post. ‘Big fun on stage in the apple. Being honest on the front lines.’

Foxx hosted the event built for the network to preview new seasons of The Masked Singer and Animal Control. The event also highlighted the upcoming MLB Negro League tribute game for FOX Sports, per Variety.

It’s over a week before Brady is roasted in a three-hour live Netflix special.

During the Greatest Roast of All Time, Brady was praised and flamed by former teammates and stand-up comedians. Gronkowski joined Julian Edelman, Drew Bledsoe and Randy Moss as participating athletes.

After taking a shot with his former quarterback, Gronkowski shockingly spiked his shot glass onto the stage floor. Comedian Andrew Schulz later revealed that this led to him injuring a girl in the audience.

Meanwhile, Foxx has been recovering since a “medical complication” led to health concerns in April 2023. On May 12, his daughter Corrine said Foxx has left the hospital and is doing well.

In April, a source said PEOPLE that Foxx is “doing incredibly well” and looked forward to returning to his hosting duties on Beat Shazam while working on several new projects.

“Jamie hasn’t missed a beat on Beat Shazam,” the source said. ‘He was literally his old self again. Really busy!’

Although he has yet to clarify what happened during his health scare, Foxx said in March that he would share the story in an upcoming stand-up comedy special.
