Tom Brady said he was “pretty p***ed” during Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 20-10 win over New Orleans on Sunday.
The 45-year-old quarterback furiously threw a tablet during a largely close encounter between NFC South’s rivals.
“I try to make sure I don’t throw my arm out when I throw it away,” Brady said jokingly on his weekly Let’s go podcasting. “But I was pretty pissed yesterday.”
“Unfortunately, I’ve had a pretty bad track record against that tablet. I forgot the password and I couldn’t log in, so those things can be frustrating,” Brady joked again.
“I haven’t done very well (keep calm), and I need to be very aware of that in the future and get my emotions in a good place so that I can be the best player I can be.
“I think there are points where you can get too emotional, which I definitely think I was (on Sunday).”

Brady was also asked about the revelation that he will have every Wednesday off during the season, on what has been termed a veteran’s rest day.

“The fact that I’ve worked weekends for the past 23 years does deserve one day off a week,” Brady said jokingly.
The Bucs wrestled against the Saints and their quarterback didn’t hide his frustration about it
The Tampa Bay quarterback appeared in a positive mood throughout his time on the podcast, very different from the temperature of Sunday’s NFC South clash with New Orleans.
Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans was banned for one game for forcefully pushing an unsuspecting Marshon Lattimore when a brawl broke out between the two teams.
Evans can appeal and likely will with nothing at stake if he failed.
The incident occurred after a third-down incompetence, when Saints defensive back Lattimore started chewing on Bucs quarterback Tom Brady.

“I don’t think it deserved any kind of suspension,” Brady said.
‘I think that’s ridiculous. Hopefully we can get past it and into a better place,
“I don’t think Mike should be the one to blame and pick out. Unfortunately, he was, and that’s the reality of life in the NFL.”
Brady also cleared up rumors that Ryan Fitzpatrick was “that mother ******” that a team decided to win him over as quarterback while Brady was a free agent in 2020.

Some suspected Brady was referring to Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, or even then Miami signal caller Ryan Fitzpatrick – including Fitzmagic himself!
“I still believe to this day that I am that mother******,” the Miami quarterback said earlier this week on The Dan Le Batard show.
Although Brady explicitly denied it was Fitzpatrick.
‘I like to keep them guessing, and unfortunately with this coming out I’d have to tell him, iIt wasn’t him.’
