A toddler has been taken to hospital with severe burns after falling into a fire pit.
Emergency services were called to a property in Tallai, located in the Gold Coast hinterland, at around 4 p.m. on Saturday.
A spokeswoman for the Queensland Ambulance Service said Gold Coast Bulletin the toddler was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital.
His condition is stable, but he suffered burns to his legs and abdomen.
