Toddler fighting for life after ute reverses over her on K’gari beach – with her desperate dad performing CPR

A toddler is fighting for her life after a ute ran over her and pushed her face first into the sand on K’gari (formerly Fraser Island), Queensland, on Thursday morning.

The child was flown to hospital by a LifeFlight rescue helicopter after being treated by paramedics at the scene.

The young girl suffered severe bruising and tire marks on her leg, back and ear.

The car’s tires reportedly rolled over the girl at low speed, pushing her into the sand.

She became unresponsive after the accident and her father performed CPR before emergency services arrived.

The toddler was flown to Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane in a serious but stable condition.
