Todd Chrisley is rejoicing over Donald Trump’s victory as he believes the newly elected Republican president can release him and his wife Julie from prison.

The reality TV couple was sentenced to a total of 19 years behind bars after being convicted by a federal grand jury in 2022 of bank fraud, wire fraud and tax evasion.

Their daughter Savannah, 27, has fought tirelessly for a reduced sentence, even taking her efforts to the Republican National Convention in July in an effort to gain sympathy from Trump with the “end goal” of having him free her incarcerated parents.

The former pageant queen, who starred in family reality show Chrisley Knows Best, has been “amazed” since Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday night, while her father, 55, was convinced he might not have to serve his full sentence.

The podcast host celebrated Trump’s victory on Instagram, posting a series of videos claiming, “Y’all did it.”

The outspoken influencer was pictured wearing a “Make America Great Again” sweatshirt and a red “USA” baseball cap.

Users quickly accused her of supporting Trump in a desperate bid to free her incarcerated parents — an accusation first made after her RNC speech in July.

“You came from felons so it only makes sense that you would vote for one…it is expected that if he wins he will pardon your felon parents,” one user wrote on Savannah’s post on Election Day.

Another posted: “She just wants Trump to pardon Mom and Dad. Good Christian?? Supporting an adulterous criminal?’

Todd and Julie, 51, were found guilty in July 2022 of conspiring to defraud community banks of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans.

They were also found guilty of tax evasion by concealing their income while living extravagant lifestyles, and both went to prison in January 2023.

Their sentences were reduced in September 2023, with Julie receiving five and a half years at the Federal Medical Center Lexington, while Todd received ten years in a federal prison in Pensacola.

In September, Julie’s request for a shorter prison sentence was denied after a judge declared she would continue to serve seven years for bank fraud and tax evasion.

An insider close to the family revealed at the time that her grudge devastated Savannah, who was so confident her mother would be released that she planned a party.

The source added that some family members fear Savannah has jeopardized her parents’ business by “talking about it non-stop.”

Savannah has spoken out about the horrific conditions her parents allegedly faced behind bars.

In July, she claimed that the heat at FMC (Federal Medical Center) in Lexington, Kentucky had caused her mother to become “physically ill.”

She compared their alleged unfair treatment to that of Trump during his highly publicized hush-money trial with porn star Stormy Daniels — something insiders claim was a calculated move to gain sympathy from the former president with the “end goal” of getting him to release her parents. .

After Savannah’s speech, a source told DailyMail.com: ‘Savannah knew exactly what she was doing. She has realized that there is nothing more she can do to get Todd out of jail and she is desperate.

Savannah ended her speech by claiming that Trump’s only belief is to “make America great again.”
