Todd Chrisley fears for the future of his marriage after it emerged his wife Julie Chrisley has the chance to have her prison sentence reduced after his appeal was rejected.
The couple, famous for their hit show Chrisley Knows Best, was convicted in 2022 of conspiring to defraud community banks of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans. They were also found guilty of tax evasion.
Julie, 51, was jailed for seven years, while Todd, 55, was jailed for 12 years.
But on Friday, federal appeals judges threw out Julie’s sentence, opening up the possibility of getting a lesser sentence from a lower court.
Todd is happy that his wife now has the chance for an early release, but fears it could mean the end of their relationship, insiders say.

Julie’s case will now go to a lower court for resentencing, which opens up the possibility of a potentially shorter prison sentence as she is currently serving a seven-year sentence
“Although Todd is happy for Julie, he is already at the end of his tether and still has about eight years to go,” a source told DailyMail.com. “He’s happy that Julie can be there for the family.”
“More than anything, Todd fears that once Julie is gone, she will find someone else, fall in love and leave Todd…someone who didn’t drag her through hell and back.”
Last week, a three-judge panel of the 11th U.S. Court of Appeals decided to reevaluate Julie’s sentence, even though the convictions were upheld.
She was initially considered responsible for the fraud dating back to 2006.
But it was ruled on Friday that there is no evidence of her involvement before 2007, partially exonerating her of the conspiracy. The sun reported.
Julie’s case will now be retried to a lower court for re-sentencing, which provides the opportunity for a possible shorter prison sentence for her sentence due to what the appeals panel called a “limited issue.”
Alex Little, a lawyer for the couple, told DailyMail.com: ‘While we are pleased that Julie will be resentenced at this time, Todd’s sentence will not be affected.
“We expect that Julie’s sentence will be reduced, but the reduction will depend on the final level of offense she will receive, depending on the final financial loss attributed to her.
The source told DailyMail.com: ‘Todd’s main fear is that if Julie is gone, she will find someone else, fall in love and leave him.’
Julie, 51, received a seven-year prison sentence when the couple was found guilty of conspiring to defraud community banks of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans
“Julie’s favorable outcome was achieved because a government witness testified that Julie’s alleged involvement began in 2007 and not 2006.”
He said Julie is “pleased” but “worried” about Todd.
He continued: ‘Julie was certainly happy that she will be sentenced again, hopefully on a lesser term, and that she can return to her family, but is rightly concerned about Todd.’
The source revealed that Julie’s children Chase, 28, and Savannah, 26, have high hopes that their mother will be able to serve the remaining time in “house arrest.”
“Savannah and Chase act like Julie is already home,” they said. ‘There is a good chance that she will be released and placed in house arrest.
But on June 21, despite upholding the convictions, a three-judge panel of the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decided to reevaluate Julie’s conviction.

“Savannah literally lives for this as she struggles to balance her life and be a mother to Chloe and Grayson.
“She acts like it was her nonstop advocacy for them that got Julie out and it literally has nothing to do with her.”
The reality star couple was found guilty in July 2022 of conspiring to defraud community banks of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans.
The Chrisleys were also found guilty of tax evasion by hiding their income while living extravagant lifestyles, and both went to prison in January 2023.
Their sentences were reduced in September, with Julie receiving five and a half years at the Federal Medical Center Lexington, while Todd received 10 years in a federal prison in Pensacola.
In November, sources told DailyMail.com that Julie was having doubts about her marriage to Todd, who convinced her they would ‘never go to jail’.
“Julie’s friends are certain she will eventually divorce Todd for convincing her to go along with his foolproof plan that landed them in jail,” they said.
Todd and Julie rose to fame thanks to their American reality show Chrisley Knows Best, which premiered in 2014 and documented their daily lives together with their children.
The series ran for nine seasons before being canceled due to the scandal.
The disgraced duo are also parents to Lindsie, 34, estranged son Kyle, 32, and Grayson, 17.
In the series, Todd and Julie have worked hard to portray the image of devoted parents and devout Christians.
But this was erased when it was made public that they had defrauded the bank by submitting false documents when applying for loans.
In addition, Todd’s former business partner Mark Braddock shocked the world when he claimed during the trial that he had had a homosexual love affair with the father of five – something he vehemently denied.
Todd and Julie spend their time in two separate facilities.
Todd is currently incarcerated in Pensacola, Florida. Meanwhile, Julie gets fucked in Lexington, Kentucky.
