While Todd and Julie Chrisley pleaded with a judge yesterday not to jail them over their “suicidal” 10-year-old daughter, one of the couple’s older children took to social media to defend them.
The religious, TV personality couple were sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison yesterday after pleading guilty to tax evasion and fraud.
Prosecutors recounted how they “swindled” banks out of $30 million by claiming to be real estate moguls while living lavish lifestyles.
The pair must report for sentencing next year; Todd received 12 years in prison and Julie received seven years.
In an 11-hour search for mercy, they told the judge that their adopted 10-year-old daughter Chloe “doesn’t want to live like [her] mom is leaving.’
On Tuesday morning, their attorney Bruce Morris confirmed to DailyMail.com that they intend to appeal the verdicts.

Hard times: The couple’s daughter Savannah posted this quote about Noah’s Ark to her Instagram page (left) last night, while their other daughter Lindsie said her friends had come to comfort her with champagne
Last night, their 25-year-old daughter Savannah took to Instagram to defend them.
She posted a quote from Twitter pastor Kimberly Jones that read, “Noah didn’t stop building the ark to explain himself to all who doubted and hated him. Keep building your ark. The rain will do the talking.’
Savannah often appeared on the NBC show Chrisley Knows Best of the Family. The show has now been canceled along with the rest of their projects.
The rest of the couple’s kids weren’t quite as vocal.
Lindsie Chrisley, who was estranged from her famous father but has recently reconciled with him, posted a photo with her friends who had gone to her house to support her with a “bottle of champagne.”
Todd and Julie’s three sons — Kyle, 31, Chase, 26, and Grayson, 16, — have yet to comment on their sentencing and have not responded to DailyMail.com’s questions.

The couple has not yet commented publicly on the sentencing.
They had denied fraud and insisted that any misconduct was in the hands of a disgruntled employee.
That employee had told the court that he and Todd were having a sexual affair.
“The Chrisleys built an empire on the lie that their wealth came from dedication and hard work
“The unanimous verdict of the jury sets the record straight: Todd and Julie Chrisley are career con artists who have made a living jumping from one fraud scheme to the next, lying to banks, defrauding salespeople and evading taxes at every turn.” said prosecutor Annalize Peters yesterday. .
Todd and Julie live in Nashville, Tennessee, in a $3.4 million home. They were charged in Georgia, where they also own property.
Since 2014, they’ve billed themselves as a holier-than-thou family and appeared in multiple reality TV shows and spin-offs.
But it was their penchant for the spotlight that ultimately put them on the radar of prosecutors.
Prior to the show, they filed for bankruptcy in 2014, citing $50 million in debt. At the time, Todd’s attorney claimed it was up to him to personally guarantee a business loan.
They downsized their home in Georgia to a smaller property in Nashville, where much of the show was filmed.
Many of the charges they faced predated their fame.
