Weather presenter Scherri-Lee Biggs is absent from new promo clips from the Today show, after Brooke Boney joked that she would be fired on Tuesday.
Scherri-Lee, who is a very popular rising star on the show, seemed to miss the cut as Brooke reads previews of Prince Harry’s new book, Spare.
In images shared to Instagram, Brooke is seen alongside her co-star Alex Cullen, salivating over the highly anticipated tell-all book.

“After dinner I’d have a joint,” Brooke is heard reading of Spare in the clip.
“Trying to make sure the smoke didn’t get into my neighbor’s garden, the Duke of Kent,” he continued.

Poor Scherri-Lee had a rough day on Tuesday after Brooke joked that she got fired after refusing to jump off a platform at an indoor rock climbing center, after admitting she has a fear of heights.
I’m so nervous I don’t think I can do it. I’m shaking, I can’t do it,’ Scherri-Lee yelled as she stood on the platform in the air.

“Go, go, come on, Scherri, you can do it!” Brooke said, while her co-host Alex Cullen added: “We’re not leaving until you do.”

After going back down to the ground, Brooke jokingly told viewers that Scherri-Lee had been fired.

Brooke told Scherri that she “just filmed her last crossover” after refusing to jump off a platform during a live crossover on Tuesday.
“That was his last cross and he went off on a punch note,” Alex added jokingly.
