Today show’s Brooke Boney pokes fun at marriage rumours after she shares photos with a ring on THAT finger
Brooke Boney teased fans on Wednesday after she shared a photo of herself wearing a gold ring on what appeared to be her wedding finger.
The Today show reporter, 36, took to Instagram on Wednesday to post a series of candid snaps – from photos taken at a dinner party to a young baby and mirror selfies.
But the first image got tongues wagging in the comments, as Brooke showed off a chunky gold band on her left ring finger.
“So you got married, had a baby, and had dinner all in one day… you, a legend!” one user joked.
‘The ring ??’ another fan insisted, prompting Brooke to address any marriage speculation.

“It’s the wrong hand, brother. Chill,” she replied. “Never post a photo of me trying on a friend’s jewelry again.”
Selfies taken in front of a mirror flip the image so that the newscaster is actually wearing the ring on her right finger, despite it looking different.
When she’s not reading the breakfast show news, Brooke is known for her cheeky sense of humour.
Last week, Brooke posted to Instagram a short video of herself playing with two of her nieces.
At one point, the youngest of the bunch, a toddler, turns to her and tells her to “shut up.”

But instead of scolding the toddler, a clearly amused Brooke tells her young niece, “Excuse me!”
Brooke can then be seen embracing her with a kiss before continuing with her game.
“It’s so beautiful when they finally learn to talk,” Brooke jokingly wrote in the caption.
“I think this is the best aunt ‘excuse me’ I’ve ever heard,” one delighted follower commented.
“Love, love, love,” another added, while a fan told Brooke: “Enjoy it.”
Brooke, a proud Gamilaroi woman from Musswellbrook in NSW, has five younger siblings.
It comes after Brooke revealed last year that she is freezing her eggs so she can have a child later in life.
The presenter talked about the process during a segment on egg freezing on Channel Nine’s breakfast show in July.
She shared a video of herself injecting herself during the process, explaining that it was “really empowering.”
“I did it myself and I really didn’t like that process, so I enlisted the help of Ally Langdon, because she was one of the few people I saw coming into the Today Show studio every day, of course. ,’ she said.
“It’s something you don’t think about until you’re in your 30s, and then you think, ‘If I’m going to do it, I should probably look into it as soon as possible!’

Brooke then compared the process to “insurance against regret.”
“What it is is an insurance policy against regret, because you don’t want to get to 40 and say, ‘Oh, I should have frozen my eggs when I was 35,'” she said.
Her co-host Karl Stefanovic jokingly replied, “Good job, Brookey. Well, we were in lockdown, there was nothing else to do! Might as well!’
Brooke also recently made a surprising confession about her love life.
The Today Show anchor revealed in March that her friends and colleagues have expressed their disapproval of the inappropriate men she dates.
Brooke recently made a surprising confession about her love life. She revealed in March that her friends and colleagues have expressed their disapproval of the inappropriate men she dates
The Channel Nine presenter made the confession after reporting on Jennifer Aniston’s recent interview with American talk show host Jimmy Fallon.
The Rumor Has It star, 54, spoke about her long friendship with fellow actor Adam Sandler and the advice they’ve given each other over the years.
Jennifer said the joker’s advice to her mainly consists of asking “what are you doing?” when she dates someone who is not suitable.
As she wrapped up her 6 o’clock entertainment bulletin, Brooke said her friends often say the same thing to her when she starts dating someone.
“To be honest, you know, my friends say that to me sometimes…” she said.
She then revealed that her Today co-host Karl was one of those concerned friends asking ‘what are you doing?’
“I know you’ve said that a few times, Karlos,” she laughed.
