Today Show’s Brooke Boney kicks off her Oxford University studies after stepping down from Nine in major career change
Brooke Boney shared an exciting life update on social media on Friday, revealing that she has officially moved to England and is starting her studies at the University of Oxford.
The TV presenter, 37, left the Today Show last month after five years and revealed her plans to move abroad to study Masters of Public Policy at the prestigious University of Oxford.
Now Brooke has confirmed that her exciting new life is in full swing as she posted a gallery of precious photos to Instagram, along with some exciting words.
Alongside a photo of her beaming as she sat in the backseat of a car on the way to her first day of college, Brooke said: “Well, that was a fun month off.
‘It’s time to start studying now. I’m going to college today to start college on Monday.”
She also shared a sweet selfie showing off her best angles in an elevator as she wheeled her luggage into the esteemed St. Antony’s College.
Brooke couldn’t contain her excitement about her huge life change as she wrote “eeeek” next to the photo.
Last month, Brooke was left teary-eyed as she received an emotional farewell on Channel Nine’s breakfast show before moving to England for her studies.

The news and entertainment reporter received flowers from her colleagues as she made a heartfelt statement live on air.
‘I want to thank the public for accepting me. I’m grateful to all of you for watching every day,” Brooke began.
‘It’s a privilege to go to Oxford, but it’s even more of a privilege to have so much love around me. It makes it hard to leave.”
The veteran presenter added that her appointment to the show was a huge milestone for Indigenous Australians, and thanked the team for taking a chance on her.
‘Today was the first breakfast show in the country to have an Aboriginal full-time presenter. Now it is a very normal thing to do in this time frame, and I am proud of that.’
In March, Boney broke down in tears as she announced her resignation live in March and shared her exciting college plans.
Channel Nine later confirmed that Jayne Azzopardi, who co-hosts Weekend Today with Clint Stanaway, will be Boney’s replacement.
