Former Today weatherman Steve Jacobs has announced he is opening a new restaurant in one of Sydney's best hotspots.
The popular breakfast TV star, 56, told Ny Breaking Australia on Tuesday he was working with Bondi's Tony's Burger Joint for the new eatery.
He said the restaurant, which opens next Tuesday, will be located in Enmore, a thriving entertainment district just 5km from the CBD.
In an exclusive chat, the father-of-two said the new career move was a “bit of a pivot” and did not mean he was retiring from television.
“I'll still do TV,” he said, adding: “TV is so fragmented right now and I've been focusing on my daughters for the last five years.”
