Today, Extra’s David Campbell reveals that his wife Lisa gave him a strange request in the bedroom: “Where do I put my legs?”
TV presenter David Campbell has revealed that his wife Lisa recently disrupted his sleeping habits by making a strange bedroom request.
The Today Extra host, 49, said after breaking her wrist that she asked him to switch sides in their bed – and he had trouble adjusting to the new sleeping position.
‘I’ve always slept on the left side. So much so that out of respect for her – and out of habit – I just don’t go to the right side of a bed,” he wrote in Stellar magazine.
βI ventured to the side that wasn’t snoozed for her. She slept so well. I felt existential dread take hold of me as I hugged the comforter. Where do I put my legs? Will I ever fall asleep again?’
David said for months that he sacrificed a comfortable night’s sleep for the sake of his wife and was thrilled when she finally asked if he wanted to switch back.

As tears filled my eyes, I said, “If that’s what you want, baby.” I then ran upstairs and took a party nap on my side. The good side. The side where I belong,β he explained.
David is a father to son Leo, 12, and twins Betty and Billy, eight, who he shares with his wife of 15 years, Lisa Hewitt.
Earlier this month, he revealed that his biggest fear for his children is the impact social media will have on them.

The father of three, 49, spoke Nine honey about his concerns.
‘It is difficult. I am constantly afraid of this,” the TV star said, adding that he was worried about giving his son a phone.
“There’s the horror of being a parent knowing the whole world is online and we all know online is a horrible place,” he added.
“You don’t want them to lose their innocence too soon.”
The TV presenter celebrated a milestone in April and shared a rare photo on Instagram.
βNine years sober this week. I was in Broome with my wife and son (pre-twins). This happy picture of me is from when I made the decision. I’m still happy,” he wrote.
