TJ Holmes and Amy Robach announce new weekly PODCAST with loved-up Instagram post after being fired by GMA3 when DailyMail.com exposed their affair
TJ Holmes and Amy Robach have announced a new weekly podcast after they were both fired by GMA3 when DailyMail.com exposed their affair.
In a post to their Instagram pages, the couple shared a loved-up photo of the two of them announcing their show, called the ‘Amy and TJ’ podcast.
Robach and Holmes were fired by ABC in January after their romantic relationship was exposed by DailyMail.com.
According to an Instagram page set up for the podcast, their new show starts on December 5.
After DailyMail.com revealed that both married co-anchors had an affair, both Holmes and Robach’s marriages were left in tatters – with both couples splitting after learning of the illicit romance.

The two co-hosts, whose on-screen chemistry captivated audiences after joining GMA’s third hour in 2020, are seen laughing and socializing at the bar in November 2022 after a morning of filming.
The scandalous affair caused both Holmes, 46, and Robach, 50, to lose their hosting spots on Good Morning America, although the couple has remained together ever since.
In court documents first reported by US Magazine, the paperwork finalizing the divorce between Holmes and his ex-wife Marilee Fiebig was revealed last month.
The couple share a 10-year-old daughter Sabine, but the two have been in the process of ending their marriage since Holmes filed for divorce in December 2022 after his extramarital affair came to light.
Fiebig, an immigration attorney, and Holmes were married for nearly thirteen years before the affair came to light.
The couple was reportedly divorced at the time, but Fiebig was said to be ‘blindsided’ by the off-screen affair.
Robach’s husband, former Melrose Place actor Andrew Shue, also reportedly split from the host in August 2022, just weeks before the romance came to light.
Holmes and Robach had been hosting Good Morning America for two years before their affair became public, and the duo won over fans with their on-camera chemistry.
The stars were often caught giggling at each other, sharing in sarcastic jokes and engaging in playful touching on air – and their antics quickly made them one of ABC’s most popular hosting teams.

Robach and her husband, former Melrose Place actor Andrew Shue, 55, (pictured in March 2022) also split in August 2022, weeks before the affair came to light.
The former Good Morning America co-hosts then spent the weekend at a cozy cabin in the Shawangunk Mountain region, checking out their rental on November 13. Holmes was seen giving his lover a playful squeeze from behind as she packed up the car.
But in November 2022, DailyMail.com revealed their secret love affair, with the two enjoying steamy late-night hookups, post-filming date nights and sneaking in and out of each other’s apartments.
Both presenters had been married to their respective spouses for more than a decade at the time, and an inside source told DailyMail.com that the unsuspecting couples were known to spend time together.
“Everyone knows that Amy and TJ have been close friends for a long time, running together and even hanging out as a foursome with each other’s husbands,” they said.
Insiders said the feud between Holmes and Robach arose in June 2022, if not earlier, when they were “in London together filming the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee for ABC and staff were buzzing about the intimacy between them.”
The duo had anchored GMA 3 since 2020, with many commenting on-screen about their close — but seemingly platonic — relationship.
But their affair sparked after they were seen enjoying flirty post-movie sessions at a New York City bar, spending time alone in each other’s swanky Manhattan apartments, and frolicking to a secluded cottage in upstate New York for a weekend getaway.
Insiders said the feud between Holmes and Robach originated in June 2022, if not earlier, when they were “together in London filming the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.”
In one instance, on November 10, 2022, Robach and Holmes finished taping their daily segment at ABC Studios before they were seen deep in conversation in a cozy corner of O’Donogue’s Irish Bar in Times Square.
An eyewitness told DailyMail.com: ‘They were absolutely crazy about each other. She giggled at what he said, and they looked at each other’s phones. At one point she danced a little in her chair to the music and laughed so hard she almost fell on his lap.”
Their affair sent shockwaves through morning television, prompting ABC News to officially part ways with the duo in January 2023.
“After a number of productive conversations with Amy Robach and TJ Holmes about various options, we all agreed that it would be best for everyone for them to leave ABC News,” an ABC News spokesperson said at the time.
After a flirty encounter at O’Donoghue’s Irish bar in Times Square, Holmes and Robach, who were both married at the time, were later seen walking out of the pub separately, keeping a safe distance of six meters apart as they waited for their ride out .
“We recognize their talent and dedication over the years and are grateful for their contributions.”
Before being officially fired, both Holmes and Robach were temporarily taken off the air while an internal investigation was conducted.
A week after their secret romance came to light, Robach and Holmes doubled down on their affair and were reportedly determined to “grow their relationship.”
Despite the backlash over their extramarital affair, the couple has seemingly stayed together ever since.
