Appleās reputation for making devices that ājust workā means itās hard to argue with the quality, consistency and dominance of iPhones; Iām using the iPhone 15 Pro Max myself. However, not everyone can get on with iOS, or can stomach the relatively high prices Apple charges for its phones.
In terms of hardware, iPhones also lag behind Android, with the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus still having slow 60Hz displays (which will still be slow for 2024). And even the Pro iPhones donāt yet have a rear-camera combination that deviates from the standard cameras (ultra-wide and telephoto).
So, you may be reading this as an iPhone user whoās tired of Appleās phones and is looking for a change, or as an Android user who wants a snapshot of the phones to upgrade to. With that in mind, check out the video below.

My personal recommendation is the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra if youāre after a big phone that does everything except fold. For that, youāll want the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 . Or the rather neat and smart Google Pixel 8 , which offers solid hardware with a ton of AI, great cameras, and a very slick version of Android.
