Grinning Tinder creep Thomas McGuirk disgusted Australia with his vile abuse of women. Now cops are hunting him down on a disturbing new charge – and even his family have disowned him
EXCLUSIVE
A serial Tinder creep who bombarded women with abusive text messages after they rejected his advances is now a wanted man being hunted by police for alleged stalking and harassment, Daily Mail Australia can reveal.
Thomas McGuirk, 34, went viral in 2020 after he sent mean voice messages to Tinder match Ebonie Sanderson, 30, calling her a “fat pig” and “fucking ugly.”
The IT worker was subsequently fired when eight more women came forward with similar horror stories of being harassed after turning him down.
McGuirk eventually issued a groveling apology, saying he was “genuinely sorry” and “ashamed” of his “wrong behavior,” which stemmed from him “struggling with rejection.”
Now Daily Mail Australia can reveal that McGuirk – who has remained out of the public eye since early 2021 – is the subject of an active arrest warrant.
The warrant was issued by NSW Police in Hornsby Local Court on July 12, 2021 – just months after his antics sparked widespread outrage.
Police are trying to charge McGuirk with stalking and harassment, but have been unable to locate him to serve him court papers for more than three years.
Court documents obtained by Daily Mail Australia show police allege McGuirk stalked or intimidated a woman, with intent to put her in fear of physical or mental harm, in Beecroft, north Sydney, on August 30, 2020.

Ebonie Sanderson (pictured), 30, shared abusive messages Tom sent her on Instagram in October 2020, leading to his dismissal from work
While insulting women, McGuirk said he was so attractive that he had no problem setting up dates. “Look at my bloody face,” he said to Mrs. Sanderson. “I have no trouble getting laid.”
The alleged incident against the woman – who was not among those who previously shared their experiences with the media – happened just four weeks before he was exposed as a dating app pest.
When Daily Mail Australia attempted to contact McGuirk earlier this month, his father revealed his son had been estranged from the family for “years”. “I have no idea where he is,” he said.
“I don’t have any relationship with him.”
In late October 2020, three weeks after apologizing for his behavior, McGuirk launched a supplement company, registered to a unit at the Meriton Suites in Waterloo.
The company registration was canceled 18 months later in April 2022.
McGuirk appears not to have been active online since then, and any paper records that might indicate his whereabouts have disappeared.
Daily Mail Australia also understands that McGuirk, who listed his age as 28 on his dating app profile in 2020, was actually 30 at the time.
McGuirk’s appalling actions first came to light when Ms Sanderson bravely told how she was verbally abused after turning down an invitation to his Bondi apartment.
McGuirk lashed out: “You’re basically a fat pig. Do you know that? Thank you. You’re fucking ugly. Your ass looks good and you would have been an asshole.”
“You should have been a f**k because you’re a disgusting fat pig.”

Sydney brewery supervisor Erin Hinds, 26, was also harassed by Mr McGuirk after she broke off their brief affair
Feminist activist Clementine Ford reshared the post, and an army of her followers then flooded McGuirk’s then boss at Sydney logistics company Invenco with emails demanding the tech worker be fired.
Business owner Dave Scott later fired McGuirk, saying he was “shocked and disgusted” by the messages, which would make his “blood boil” if anyone ever said that to his four young daughters.
Women from across Australia – and internationally as far away as London – flocked online to share stories of similar encounters with McGuirk.
Their travails included being belittled, called “s***” and “whore”, and then, after blocking McGuirk, being continually defrauded by him under new accounts.
Days later, he apologized, saying his fame was a “wake-up call” and vowing to stay off social media. However, in December, women reported that he was using dating apps again under different aliases.
Classmates from McGuirk’s hometown of Port Macquarie, on the NSW north coast, revealed at the time that he was repeatedly rejected and bullied in high school because of his then teeth and speech impediment.
McGuirk has remained out of the public eye in recent years
A former friend said his mother and sister were still locals in the Port Macquarie region and were both highly respected in the community.
“They are very, very good people and they would be absolutely beside themselves with his recent behavior,” she said at the time.
