Tina Turner’s son Ike Jr. was arrested for crack possession weeks before her death and “tried to eat the drugs before cops could seize them”
Ike Turner Jr., the son of the late Tina and Ike Turner, was arrested in Texas last month on multiple drug charges, less than three weeks before his famous mother’s death at age 83.
Ike Jr., 64, was taken into custody in Alvin, Texas, on May 6, in connection with possession of crack cocaine and tampering with evidence, police said People Wednesday.
“He tried to eat the drugs before the officers could confiscate them from him,” Captain QT Arendell of the Alvin Police Department told the outlet.
