Tina Turner’s £58million Swiss weekend retreat is reportedly set to be turned into a museum.

The sprawling estate in Stäfa is just 30 minutes from the country house where she lived with husband Erwin Bach, on the shores of Lake Zurich.

Following Tina’s death at the age of 83 last week, it is now rumored that her widower plans to use it to display memorabilia from the late superstar’s career.

The couple bought the century-old 25,000 square meter estate in the village of Staefa in September 2021.

The beautiful property features a private pond, stream, pool and boat deck in the exclusive neighborhood where tennis star Roger Federer also lives.

This is reported by the Swiss newspaper Blick and The mirrorthe retreat could now be used to display memorabilia from throughout her career.

It comes after word got out that a memorial in honor of Tina Turner is currently being planned by the local government of her hometown in Brownsville, Tennessee.

The city’s mayor, Bill Rawls Jr., recently spoke with him TMZ and said he planned to have a statue of the late hitmaker installed in her memory and that he had already received support from local leaders.

Turner’s statue would likely be placed in Brownsville’s Heritage Park, not far from Carver High School, which she attended during her teenage years.

Mayor Rawls also made a statement to the outlet to speak about what the project would mean for Brownsville residents.

“When Tina took the stage, it belonged to her. We want this image to represent that passion,” he said.

He then briefly discussed the impact the late hitmaker had on the residents of her hometown.

“Tina was an inspiration to the whole world… She showed the people of Brownsville where you start, your own story of where you end up,” he said.

The Tina Turner Museum, which is dedicated to her life and work, is also located in Brownsville.

Mayor Rawls has not provided a timeline or expected installation date for the monument.

Turner died Wednesday at her home near Zurich, Switzerland.

The artist, who was battling various ailments at the time of her death, succumbed to natural causes.

The hitmaker’s publicist, Bernard Doherty, issued a statement indicating that the singer’s impact on the music industry would be long-lasting.

“With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model,” he said via The independent.

Turner spoke The protector just a month before her passing and discussed how she would like to be remembered.

She stated that she wanted her fans to look back on her “as the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll.” As a woman who showed other women that it’s okay to strive for success on their own terms.”

The late songwriter also talked about getting older and staying cheerful during her later years.

“This is life’s full adventure and I embrace and accept each day with what it brings,” she said.
