Timothy Blackburn is sentenced to federal prison for videos of himself and his girlfriend having sex with dogs – as she was forced into the act as punishment for cheating

A North Carolina man who tried to sell videos of him and his girlfriend having sex with dogs will now spend almost four years in prison.

Last week, Timothy Lewis Blackmon, 45, was sentenced to 46 months in prison with three years of supervised release.

He pleaded guilty in June 2023 to distributing an ‘animal crush’ video. As part of the plea deal, an additional charge of possession of child pornography was dropped.

The Walkertown, N.C., man promoted home videos of him having sex with dogs, as well as a video of his girlfriend, who cheated on him and was forced to perform a sex act with a pit bull as punishment.

The woman, Tracy Lynn Abbott, pleaded guilty in August 2022 to two counts of crimes against nature. She was given a suspended prison sentence of three to thirteen months.

His girlfriend, Tracy Lynn Abbott, was given a suspended sentence of three to 13 months in prison last year after appearing in one of the videos.

Although the content of the video is described in the indictment as a man having sex with a dog, it could be much more insidious.

“Animal crush” is defined in US Code Title 18 Section 48 as conduct in which an animal is “intentionally crushed, burned, drowned, suffocated, impaled, or otherwise subjected to serious bodily harm.”

In the most serious cases this has led to death.

Blackmon’s twisted racket was exposed in March 2022, when a New Jersey man watched a livestream on the messaging app Kik in which a user promoted videos of him having sex with dogs.

According to the search warrant, the man then showed “a second device” on the livestream and played the videos to prove they were legitimate.

He claimed to have three dogs, two males and one female.

When the user offered to sell the videos with CashApp, his identity was revealed via the username $timblackmon197.

The New Jersey man searched Blackmon’s name on Google in an attempt to determine his location. Two hours after the livestream ended, he contacted police.

The 45-year-old was also charged with possession of child pornography, but those charges were dropped as part of a plea agreement. (Pictured: a previous mugshot from 2021)

Investigator CR King, who had applied for one of the three search warrants, created an undercover Kik account and participated in a live broadcast.

“In the live broadcast, the suspect describes videos he posted the night before of his pit bull having intercourse with a girl he had, and him having intercourse with the same girl,” King wrote.

This woman was later identified as Abbott.

When Blackmon offered to sell the videos, he and King entered into a private chat.

Blackmon agreed to send a video via CashApp in exchange for $5. After the payment was processed, he sent a video of himself performing a sex act with a female dog.

King was able to confirm Blackmon’s identity by comparing the videos to photos from the DMV and other local law enforcement databases.

Investigators obtained IP information from Kik and obtained a search warrant for Charter Communications to track down the IP address of Blackmon’s home.

When officers raided the house, they seized two smartphones and a wallet.

Two dogs – a pit bull mix named Buster and an American Pit Bull Terrier named Lady – were taken and placed in protective custody. They are now at the Forsyth Humane Society.

The 43-year-old faced a total of 19 charges of crime against nature following his arrest last March.

However, the other charges were dropped when he was indicted by a federal grand jury on one count of possession of child pornography and a second count alleging that he “knowingly sold, marketed, advertised, exchanged and distributed” the dog sex video.

According to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of North Carolina, Blackmon was ordered to pay $3,000 in restitution victims of the charges stated in the indictment, in addition to the prison sentence.

As part of his probation, Blackmon must undergo drug treatment.

He is not allowed to own pets or care for anyone else’s animals.
