Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has reportedly been cited for two counts of third-degree assault.

Edwards reportedly grabbed a folding chair and swung it, hitting two female employees, after Minnesota’s loss to the Nuggets in Game 5 on Tuesday, according to Denver sports.

The employees both reportedly sustained non-serious injuries and asked to press charges against the 21-year-old, Denver police told the outlet.

The forward missed the final shot that would have tied Game 5 and sent it to overtime and sprinted off the field and through the tunnel.

Denver police reportedly delayed the departure of the Timberwolves team bus in order to send Edwards a police report.

The NBA star faces up to 18 months in prison and/or a fine of up to $1,000 under Colorado law.
