Two sisters have caused a stir after revealing a controversial secret about their relationship.
Mother of two Timarafrom New Zealand, admitted that her sister is in a relationship with her ex-husband, the father of her children.
It’s a situation that most wouldn’t approve of, but Timara has decided to look past it after learning about her sister’s relationship with her ex.
“There wasn’t really a conversation, I just noticed that they were together and that was that,” Timara, 37, told FEMAIL.
‘I think it’s fine because everyone deserves love and happiness. My focus is on my own life, my little family and making sure I am there mentally and emotionally for my daughter because she is the only one who matters in the situation.”
The confession shocked thousands of people online and left a sour taste in the mouths of some who could not fathom that their sister was dating an ex-partner. But others admired the mother’s strength to continue the relationship with her sister.
‘It stays in the family. Yes, it’s weird, but I choose not to let it bother me,” Timara captioned a now-viral video.
While Timara and her ex-husband were married for ten years, they separated after the first year. They only got divorced earlier this year.

The video posted on social media quickly caught the attention of the masses but was not phased by any negative comments.

“So when they have babies your babies will be siblings and cousins,” another commented.
“Well you definitely learned to share your toys growing up, or give them to the less fortunate,” a third joked.
Another woman said the reality of their relationship is “disgusting on all levels” and the sister settled for “sloppy seconds.”
Someone else said she wouldn’t talk to her sister again if she did the same thing.
Others, however, did not judge the sisters or their family.
‘Good for you. I know what I’d do to my sister if that were us. Left, right, good night,” someone said.
“You are a better woman than me because I could never do that,” wrote another.
“I like this so much, not because I would do it, but because you have no intention of letting a man come between you and your sister,” a third added.
