Tim Tszyu’s wife opens up about ‘one of the most devastating and traumatising times of my life’ after her stunning wedding
Tim Tszyu’s wife Alexandra has lifted the lid on one of the most ‘traumatizing’ periods of her life, admitting that there were periods in 2024 when she felt ‘traumatised’.
It’s been a tough year for Tszyu in the ring, with the Australian sensation’s winning streak coming to an end after he lost the first fight of his career, a split-decision defeat to Sebastian Fundora in March.
He returned to the ring in October, where he was again defeated by Bakhram Murtazaliev, being knocked down four times before suffering a technical knockout defeat in Orlando.
Despite these two defeats, Alexandra reflected on a whirlwind year for the couple, noting how Tszyu sold out the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for his fight against Fundora and sharing some snaps from their Las Vegas wedding.
“2024, where to start,” she said during the music video.
“Tim packed one of the biggest stadiums in boxing history,” she added, reflecting on his defeat to Fundora at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

“And even though he lost by split decision, it was one of the most devastating and traumatizing times of my life.”
The video shows Tsyu in the ring and posing for a photo with his family and team outside the Sphere in Las Vegas before heading off on vacation with Alexandra.
“We went to Hawaii afterward to heal, Tim got his stitches out and even though I looked happy on the outside, I was so traumatized,” she added.
‘In addition to the lows, there are also highs, such as making your childhood dreams come true.
“So Tim bought some really nice watches, we packed our bags and headed to Thailand for a training camp.”
During the video, she showed off several beautiful watches that she and her husband had purchased, with Alexandra wearing a gold watch that sparkled with diamonds.
‘I did a lot of spinning elbows and to be honest, Tim and I were separated for ten months in 2024.
“It was really depressing.”
Tszyu previously said the couple wanted to move to America after Tsyu faced Murtazaliev and scouted properties in Las Vegas.
Alexandra also revealed that the couple had been thinking about moving to Dubai.
‘But you know what, I’ve traveled the world.
‘I went to Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai. We had the idea of moving there. I checked the address on the Palm and realized it wasn’t for me.
“We tried again in Orlando but it didn’t work out and we thought you know what, stop it, let’s get married and it was the best day of our lives.”
The couple tied the knot two years ago in a stunning ceremony in Sydney’s east in front of 120 guests.
The couple, who have been together for eight years, stunned, with Alexandra wearing a stunning designer dress by Steve Khalil.

She revealed the pair had gone to Hawaii to enjoy a break following Tszyu’s defeat to Sebastian Fundora in March, but revealed they had been separated for almost ten months over the course of the year.
Tszyu and Alexandra both dazzled at their wedding, having been together since 2016
Tszyu first met Alexandra, who speaks fluent English, French and Macedonian, at a boxing class in Rockdale in 2016 and it was love at first sight for the pair.
Alexandra has been by his side ever since, but has previously shared that getting married was less stressful than watching one of her husband’s fights.
“In terms of atmosphere and nerves, a wedding is a walk in the park compared to a fight,” Alexandra told News Corp.
‘Just give me a wedding. We actually planned it in a very short time – about six weeks, which is unheard of.
‘Tim’s weight loss usually takes longer than six weeks, so we are doing well.
‘We have about 120 guests and we keep it small and nice.
‘We also managed to secure a very special location for our shoot, which has never been done before, but you’ll have to wait to find out.’
