Henderson ended his time on Merseyside during the 2023 summer transfer window when he secured a lucrative move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq.

‘For me, Henderson is the best captain Liverpool have had in the Premier League era. I think he was a better captain than Steven Gerrard because Henderson won the Premier League and the Champions League.

In his 12 years on Merseyside, Henderson has won seven major trophies, including the Premier League and the Champions League.
