Tilda Swinton pledges her support for war-torn Gaza as she slips into an elegant black satin gown at the San Sebastian Film Festival
Tilda Swinton pledged her support for war-torn Gaza on Thursday as she attended a photocall for her new film The Room Next Door at the San Sebastian Film Festival.
The actress, 63, cut an elegant figure in a stunning black satin dress as she posed for photos to promote her role in the film, a translation of the Spanish title La Habitación De Al Lado.
Tilda oozed glamor in her quirky black dress adorned with black beaded details and a voluminous skirt.
She paired her outfit with a matching fan and completed her outfit with a badge with the words SOS Gaza, as the country continues to be shattered by the ongoing conflict with Israel.
According to the United Nations, more than 1.9 million of Gaza’s 2.4 million residents have been displaced during the nearly year-long conflict.

Israel’s campaign in Gaza has killed more than 41,500 Palestinians and injured more than 96,000 others, according to the latest figures released Thursday by the Health Ministry.
The ministry’s count does not distinguish between civilians and combatants, but more than half of the dead are women and children, including about 1,300 children under the age of two.
Israel launched its campaign in Gaza, vowing to destroy Hamas after the Oct. 7 attack in which militants killed about 1,200 people and took about 250 others hostage.
It blames Hamas for the civilian deaths in Gaza because the group’s fighters operate in residential areas and use civilian infrastructure.
Distributed by Warner Bros, The Room Next Door will hit UK cinemas on October 25.
