Chloe captioned each photo with what happened, step by step:
“In November 2022, a random lump appeared on my neck and then I was told it was a persistent infection of tonsillitis.
‘Back and forth to the doctors for blood tests and needle biopsies in my neck.
“Finally had surgery for a biopsy in March 2023 hoping it was nothing.

One viewer wrote, “My 14-year-old sister just came to me with a lump on her neck, she has a cold and swollen tonsils, should we be concerned?”
Another said, “Omg I was told it was tonsillitis but I had it in January, I didn’t feel anything like tonsillitis, I have an abnormal lump awaiting results on Tuesday.”
Responding to concerned commenters, Chloe made an additional video, listing her symptoms as “night sweats, constant fatigue, swollen lymph nodes, pain when drinking alcohol and feeling unwell all the time.”
During treatment, she was inundated with messages of support from her followers – the comments read ‘Proud of you, stay strong’ and ‘Pray for it to get better’.
The website of the GGD has lists of symptoms of both tonsillitis and Hodgkin lymphoma – they have a few similarities, but overall they are very different.
In early July, Chloe announced she was now cancer-free with a video showing the beginning of her treatment and herself now.
She shared photos of her crying and hair falling out, with the caption “Diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin Lymphoma 08/03/2023.”
She then added a photo of herself, her partner and her family and wrote “Cancer free 04/07/2023.”
She continued to share her joy, with another video reading, “Just beating cancer, watching the love of my life graduate and spending the weekend at the most beautiful lodge. LIFE IS GOOD.’
Another had her dancing in the rain to celebrate finishing chemotherapy.
