TikTok users mock the budding sorority girls with their own outfit of the days with #CorporateRush

>

Although #BamaRush may be over, TikTok users aren’t done just yet, now, many have taken the spot of the budding sorority students with their outfit of the day videos mocking students’ southern accents and clothing styles with the hashtag #CorporateRush.

Social media users have taken over the #BamaRush and #Alabamarush hashtags with parody accents, attire and attitudes of the University of Alabama students.

The parody videos come as the end of pledge week wrapped for the actual budding sorority students who posted their outfits of the day or #OOTD under the #BamaRush hashtag in hopes of garnering the attention of active members.

Many social media users like Samantha McDonald have taken over the #BamaRush and #Alabamarush hashtags with parody accents, attire and attitudes of the Bama students

The students, who are fighting for a spot in sisterhood, put their attitudes and attire on full display and even rattle off their clothing brands in the popular videos to prove they’re #BamaRush material.

And now that rush week is over, TikTokers have taken the chance to recreate the Potential New Member’s videos and their hypnotizing southern accents.

The adults showcase their work attire and ruthlessly mock the PNMs by mimicking their presentations and viciously lampooning the sorority process.

Each video begins with the same line as the women poke fun at the sorority girls.

‘Hey y’all welcome to day one of corporate rush,’ they begin their videos with.

A woman who goes by @holly_pockets on TikTok shared her corporate rush video, which garnered over 741,000 views, and began by rattling off the brands of her clothes.

After revealing her clothing the social media user added: ‘Dark circles are courtesy of sleepless nights due to being burnt out, my attitude is defeated and my mood is f*** it, go day one!’

Samantha McDonald, from Massachusetts, also took to TikTok to share her corporate rush outfit.

The new trend comes as the University of Alabama students just wrapped their rush week where they desperately tried to impress active members with their clothes and attitudes

‘Hi y’all welcome to corporate rush day one, my jacket is Princess Polly, my top is Amazon, my pants are Loft, my shoes are Amazon,’ she said in a southern accent.

Her two friends also listed off their clothing brands, of course paired with fake southern accents.

A woman who goes by @thesabway on TikTok shared her parody video as well.

‘Hey everyone now that Bama Rush is done welcome to corporate rush Tok day one.’

And while she still gave her outfit details, she also included a different approach – one that highlighted her struggles in corporate America.

‘The bags are under my eyes are from the four hours of sleep I get every single night, the depression is from the fact that I haven’t seen my friends or family in several months.

‘The anxiety is that this work phone goes off every three minutes and if I miss an email I will get yelled at,’ she added.

Next up was Julie Rivers from Houston, Texas, who similarly sported an overdramatic southern accent and listed off her Louis Vuitton purse, Gucci belt and other designer items.

She ended the video and said: ‘My attitude is terrible and my mood is defeated!’

One woman, who goes by @weenie.092899 on the video sharing platform, also shared a corporate rush video, but shared it in her office and even included one of her coworkers.

The two laughed off their fake southern accents and rattled off where their clothing was from.

Lastly was TikTok user who goes by @leebecs, who is an avid ‘character’ in the corporate rush season.

‘Hey y’all welcome to day three and TGIF cause Lord knows I need a break,’ she said.

She listed where her clothes were from and made sure to not forget her ‘power pony,’ before adding that her hair was tied into a ponytail to ‘power [her] through the weekend.’

‘My wine is chilled, my reality TV is ready and my anxiety is cured,’ she said at the end of her video.
