TikTok user shares genius hack to avoid paying for iCloud storage — without deleting precious photos and important emails

  • Amazon prime user can get unlimited photo storage through an Amazon app

A TikToker shared a genius hack to avoid paying for iCloud storage without deleting precious photos or important emails.

Apple only offers 5 GB of free storage to iCloud users, a scant amount compared to what their competitor Android offers at 15 GB.

The Essential Element offers four services, and Apple users will need to fit iCloud Backup, iCloud Drive, iCloud Mail, and iCloud Photo Library into the scarce storage space if they want to avoid paying for more.

User Sarah Adekola shared the tip on her social media and recommended that her followers download the Amazon Photos: Photo & Video App.

The genius hack has received 44 saves from other savvy savers and posted 24 stocks since last week.

She said, “You can get 5 GB of free photo and video storage from Amazon.

“All you have to do is download Amazon Photos and sign in to your account.”

The app offers the same free storage as Apple with 5 GB, but Prime users can get unlimited space for their photos and videos.

The app also offers free Google Drive storage space for power users. The description says, “All Google Drive users receive 16 gigabytes of free storage for Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos.”

A Prime membership is just two pounds more than Apple’s top storage amount and gives you unlimited storage and access to all the benefits of Prime.

Apple offers four storage options: 5GB (free), 50GB (£0.79), 200GB (£2.49) and 2TB (£6.99).
