Taylor died earlier this month due to complications related to Addison’s disease and asthma.

Addison’s disease is a rare condition that occurs when the adrenal glands no longer produce enough of the hormones cortisol and aldosterone, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Adrenal insufficiency can be life-threatening, and symptoms – including extreme fatigue, weight loss and low blood pressure – can develop slowly or quickly.

There is no cure for Addison’s disease, but patients typically take replacement hormones to treat the chronic condition.

The social media star documented part of her illness for her fans. Many noticed that she didn’t seem like herself, but Taylor didn’t tell them what her specific condition was.

Taylor’s tragic passing comes about six weeks after she and her husband celebrated their first wedding anniversary.

Confirming the death of his young bride, Cameron wrote a sad farewell on social media for her 1.3 million followers.

“No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age,” the rodeo bull rider wrote via Instagram.
