TikTok star Lexy Burke and her husband, country singer Austin Burk, are shocked after someone opens fire on their Tennessee home while inside

Pregnant TikToker Lexy Burke and her husband, a country singer, have been left shaken by a bullet that ripped through their Nashville home on Sunday night — with surveillance cameras capturing audio of the gun being loaded, cocked and fired.

Burke, a self-proclaimed “serial tipper” who rose to fame during the pandemic, was upstairs bathing when she heard the single gunshot — while her husband Austin Burke said he was on the couch.

Both, aged 29, are expecting their first child this fall – and say they felt the house rattling when the gunshot rang out.

After calling the police, Austin, a country music star originally from Arizona with more than 200 million Spotify streams to his credit, recalled the fear he felt after being fired — telling fans on social media that he thought the noise was his woman who fell in the shower.

Finally realizing this was not the case, the pair continued to watch footage captured from stationed cameras and heard the terrifying audio.

The gunman, still at large, could not be seen but left evidence of their visit – in the form of a bullet hole in the exterior of the three-bedroom house.

Police confirmed to DailyMail.com that they are investigating the incident, which Austin also described in a pair of Instagram posts on Sunday and Monday. As of Tuesday, no arrests have been made.

“Someone shot my house tonight,” read the former, shared on the crooner’s social media late Sunday night.

“I was sitting on the couch right where the bullet went in,” he added, revealing that Lexy was “okay, but very shaken.”

Austin, whose hit song Crazy, Crazy just debuted in April, assured his approximately 124,000 followers, “Grateful it was just the house and not one of us.”

In an update half a day later, the Buy You a Drink singer gave more insight into what really happened – while also giving a better idea of how the police handled the incident.

It aired around noon local time and ran as follows: ‘Last night I was sitting on the couch while Lexy was upstairs taking a bath. We both started hearing gunshots and then our whole house rattled.

“Initially,” Austin continued, “I thought Lexy had fallen and she thought the same thing about me.

“Once we realized we were both physically fine, we looked at our cameras and heard someone loading, pecking and shooting at our house.

“We immediately contacted the Metro Police Department and when they arrived they looked at the outside of our house with flashlights. One of the officers immediately noticed the bullet hole.’

On scene Monday, TMZ — the first to report on the incident — managed to get hold of a photo of the hole, which can still be seen in the modest 1,836-square-foot canopy home.

“To know that someone shot at our house in the middle of the night while my pregnant wife was inside,” Austin noted, “is incredibly disturbing.”

Dubbed the “serial tipper” by fans, Lexy rose to prominence around 2020 for her “Tipping Challenge” videos — in which the Nashville-based influencer generously tips service industry workers affected by the pandemic

Burke, whose exploits made her balloon famous during the pandemic, was upstairs taking a bath when she heard the single shot – while her husband was sitting on the couch

Her charitable outreach — in which she has donated $1,000 in tips to food service employees, street performers, and more — has been featured on programs like The Kelly Clarkson Show and ABC News. She is about eight months pregnant and has yet to respond to the shooting

The father-to-be added that he didn’t know who fired the disturbing shot, citing how they took the time to carefully load the gun and fire it at the house while staying out of sight.

Police officers from the Nashville Metro Police Department are equally perplexed, confirming to DailyMail.com on Tuesday that officers went to the couple’s home this weekend for a report of shots being fired, but that they have not yet made an arrest.

They said the matter is still under investigation.

It comes months after Lexy, who tied the knot with Austin in 2019 on a farm in her native Tennessee, announced that the couple would welcome their first baby, a boy, this fall, with their due date just weeks away.

Lexy, who has been dubbed the “serial tipper” by fans, rose to prominence around 2020 for her “Tipping Challenge” videos — in which the Nashville-based influencer generously tips service industry workers affected by the pandemic.

Her charitable outreach—sometimes distributing $10,000 tips to food service workers, street performers, and more—has been featured on programs like The Kelly Clarkson Show and ABC News.

Unlike her husband, Lexy has not shared any details about the shooting on social media and, currently about eight months pregnant, has not shared anything on TikTok since late June.

Last month, however, she took to Instagram to announce upcoming career news — as well as a photo of her extremely pregnant belly.

So I’m getting pretty big, whales are the crave of the week, we saw a baby boy yesterday and I’m launching my podcast soon,” she wrote, tagging the official account of her upcoming Mommy Issues podcast.

Her husband added in his statement, “I’m just so thankful that Lexy, our unborn child and our dogs are safe. I don’t wish this kind of inconvenience on anyone.

“Thanks to Metro Police for coming quickly and doing everything they could to calm our nerves and make us feel more comfortable last night.”
