Alix Earle insisted she wasn’t responsible for Braxton Berrios and Sophia Culpo’s split – while throwing serious shade at the influencer for fueling speculation that her own romance with the NFL star had started before his past relationship ended.
The TikTok sensation, 22, hit back at speculation over a recent episode of the Call her daddy podcast and claimed that being called a “mistress” had been “triggering.”
The New Jersey native argued that she and the NFL star, 27, only started dating when he and Sophia, 26, were no longer together.
Alix also went so far as to blame Sophia for sparking the rumors with her cryptic Instagram posts.

Alix, whose own father was once caught having an affair, said: ‘I spent my childhood thinking it was the worst thing you could do to another human, so why the hell would I this?”
On the podcast hosted by Alex Cooper, the social media star was asked: “Can you confirm if you were dating (Berrios) when he was in a relationship?”
Alix immediately responded, “It’s so exciting to hear you say that…
“I spent my childhood thinking that was the worst thing you could do to another human, so why the hell would I do that?
“No, they weren’t together.”
Alix’s own father TJ – who is CEO of The Earle Companies – made headlines in 2008 following a high-profile breakup.
Reports that the CEO was cheating on his then-wife and Alix’s mother Alisa began flooding the internet.
And soon enough, news broke that TJ had been secretly seeing Ashley Dupre, who then rocked the political world when it was revealed she was a sex worker at VIP escort agency Emperors Club , which counted former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer as a client, and ultimately influenced him to resign from office.
After TJ and Alisa split, Alix’s father married Ashley in 2013.
Berrios and Sophia started dating in 2021 before calling it quits two years later, which is when things got complicated
In March, the TLC reality star said she split from the blonde footballer over some sort of “betrayal,” writing that her “trust had been broken.”
During the podcast, Alix went further by blaming Sophia for stoking the fire on social media over the Berrios rumors.
“The ex-girlfriend had started posting things online hinting at infidelity in the relationship, and I was seen hanging out with this guy,” she explained.
“So everyone kind of pointed the finger at me.”
Alix said she went to check the “read receipts” herself to make sure there hadn’t been any overlap, adding: “There’s just no fucking way that this happen.
“I was checking everything.
“We’ve probably talked about this 110 times because if you did this to one person, obviously, of course, you’ll probably do this to me too.”
“And if I did that to someone else, I wouldn’t be able to live with myself.”

A few months later, Berrios took to Instagram Stories to respond to the growing speculation.
The 5ft 9in athlete said: “It has been very strange and sad to see what has happened…
“I have remained silent because it is completely out of character for me to speak publicly about my private life, but I feel like it needed to be spoken about now.”
He clarified that his previous relationship ended in March and “had nothing to do with anyone else.”
