TikTokers are divided after a video went viral showing a man grabbing a chair from a family who were holding a table while they ordered at a food court.
The footage shows a man in a white T-shirt arguing with a group of women for several seconds before picking up a chair.
On the recorder, he can be heard shouting, “It’s okay, he’s going to be so viral on TikTok,” as the man walks away to his table.
As he sits down on the chair, the woman begins to point to a sleeping baby in her mother’s arms and shouts, “Man, she has a newborn baby. Come on, I’m going to get up, you have to get up too.”
The footage, which was posted by a woman named Marissa S, shows a man in a white T-shirt arguing with an entourage of women for several seconds before picking up a chair
But we quickly hear him reply, “I don’t need that,” as she tells him to act “like a gentleman.”
Marissa told her viewers in the video captions that the man was with two women and that as the argument continued, her three-year-old daughter expressed fear and was “scared.”
While some viewers showed their support, many wondered if the group had stolen a chair from the man prior to the video.
In another video Marissa posted, TikTokers can see the man sitting on the chair as the group continues to argue.

“Something’s wrong. They probably took his chair first and then he went to get it. Someone who works there saw everything and left a comment,” one viewer wondered.
Another joked: ‘Okay, looks like there were three people and you grabbed the chair from the person they were serving, and then he said “ffs” and took it back.’
One viewer also commented: ‘I feel like there are two sides and we’re only seeing one side. He thanked me when he took the chair so the math is no math but the flex was a little over the top sir.’
It is not yet clear whether an incident occurred before the unknown man took the chair and the TikTokker began recording.
