Tiger Woods’ golf ball ends up in a fan’s JACKET on the 13th hole during his revival at the Genesis Invitational…with one spectator quipping, “if I could, I would have pulled it out.”
A Tiger Woods shot landed in a fan’s jacket pocket on the 13th hole of the Genesis Open on Saturday.
Woods’ shot deflected to the right before finding its way to the fan’s jacket.
“I took off my jacket and [Tiger’s golf ball] it fell right there,’ the viewer told the rules official on the site. Right here, I haven’t moved.
“He is security, he knows it,” the fan continued, pointing to the ball. ‘If he could, he would have pushed it out [towards the fairway].’

After receiving a free ball drop, Woods would go on to save par from the rough right to stay even. He has since added a birdie as he approaches the bottom of the front nine on Saturday.
For the tournament as a whole, Woods is three under par and 11 shots behind current leader Jon Rahm.
In his first tournament since The Open at St. Andrews, the 15-time Grand Slam champion has played well and seems to be getting stronger as the rounds progress.
However, Woods caused controversy at the tournament after he jokingly handed friend and rival Justin Thomas a tampon during the first round of the Genesis Invitational.
Some, like USA Today sports columnist Christine Brennan and Sky Sports golf analyst Sarah Stirk, used their platforms to furiously criticize Woods.
“My guess is that most of the millions of fathers and mothers who support their athletic daughters have probably long since withdrawn all their juvenile jokes that were intended to demean the ability of those girls they love and spend so much time cheering for.” . Brennan wrote.
But not our Tiger. No, he employed basic misogyny to insult his good friend Thomas, a knee-slap from a dig at female athletes: You hit the ball like a girl!
‘My main feelings are completely surprised and really disappointed. I am a woman who works in the sport, I am passionate and love the game of golf, and I believe that we all fight for equality,” Stirk said via sky sports.
“We’ve all seen the massive strides everyone is making to promote women’s sport, there’s more media exposure, increased participation levels, we want women’s sport to be on an equal footing with men.
“I think this incident last night was extremely disappointing and rude to be honest. They are two good friends JT and Tiger Woods, good friends, they play a lot together.
“Woods outdid Thomas, apparently it was done as a joke, but to me it was kind of boyish, masculine behavior,” he added.
“She hands him the tampon and he’s effectively saying ‘look, I’m over you, you’re driving the ball like a woman.'”
Woods has spent the weekend coming under fire from the likes of Sky Sports golf analyst Sarah Stirk.
He was seen handing Thomas a tampon after pulling it out on the ninth hole Thursday.
Both men saw the funny side of Woods’ prank, which came after he bested Thomas.
‘This is the inference of the incident that happened, which says that women and women are inferior to men.’
Others, like Paige Spiranac, a former college golfer-turned-model and ambassador for sportsbook PointsBet, came to her defense.
‘If anyone tries to cancel Tiger over this, we’ll riot. It’s funny,’ he tweeted.
“It’s interesting to see women outraged that Tiger put JT in a tampon after he wore it, but I’ll be quickly shot down by those same women for how I’ve decided to build my business.” You can’t choose when to be a feminist.
