Tiger Woods put down the golf clubs and packed the bag when he cadded for his 13-year-old son in Florida this weekend.
US team captain Davis Love III revealed that he had spoken to Woods from the sixth tee during the Presidents Cup at Quail Hollow, North Carolina.
But Woods had more pressing golf issues closer to home when his teenage son Charlie competed in the Notah Begay III Junior National Golf Championship.

The golfing legend was joking when his son hit a career low of 68 during the tournament on Sunday.
Charlie showed a touch of his father’s brilliance on the back nine when he shot two birdies and an eagle on a par-5 on the 14th.
“Dad told me to be patient,” Charlie revealed after finishing in a tie for fourth place.

Just play golf calmly. Stay patient, play, focus on every shot, don’t look too far ahead. Stay in the game.’
Charlie finished outside the top three in the boys 12-13 competition after carding four over after 36 holes.
The pair have been teammates at the PNC Championship for the past few years. The Woods duo finished second in the tournament last year.
