Tiffany Haddish reveals her extreme tactics for hunting down trolls: ‘I call them up sometimes!’
Tiffany Haddish has revealed the lengths she goes to track down and confront internet trolls after receiving numerous death threats and negative comments online.
To combat online harassment, the 44-year-old comedian hired a digital forensic analyst to investigate where the threats came from — and even admitted to calling her haters on the phone and confronting them one-on-one.
“Oh, I’ve been calling people, honey,” she said The Los Angeles Times.
‘They’re shocked that I’m calling. They’ll say, “I can’t believe you even saw that.”
“You made a whole video, b-! You’ve made a full five minute video! On the internet, people think they can just say anything and you’re not going to say anything. “I try my best not to do that, but I’m human,” she said.
However, she was pleasantly surprised to discover that 75 percent of these responses were made by robots in Malaysia and Iran, she said.

Since the LA Times column was published, Haddish has received even more hate: “P*do & not funny… now all I have to do is wait for @tiffanyhaddish to find me,” one person commented.
She also admitted to creating fake social media accounts using the alter ego ‘Sara’, who promised to ‘destroy’ anyone who hates her by revealing details of their personal lives.
“I learned how to get people’s information, like I get the credit report and police records. You can do that for $1.99,” Haddish told the LA Times. “Sometimes I get so angry that I ask them for their phone number and then I just call them.”
This comes after the ‘Girls Trip’ star faced increasingly negative comments online, leading her to block users from commenting on certain words and phrases on her Instagram, including ‘pedo’ and ‘not funny’.

Haddish has also experienced a wave of anti-Semitic comments following a recent trip to Israel to explore her Jewish roots.
Since October 7, Haddish has been an outspoken advocate against anti-Semitism and proudly stands for her Jewish identity.
Moreover, since starring in the new movie ‘Girls Trip’, other actors became jealous when they saw her career flourish.
“Then the jealousy started with other actors and stuff. They say, “How does she win?” Everyone cheered her on for being herself, and that’s the same thing that made people angry. “She does too much!” But she did too much.”

Last week, Haddish was promoting her new book I Curse You With Joy when she admitted that she had a great social media account.
While promoting her new book at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, she talked about how people like to talk about her on the Internet, saying that she “made a fake page of me and now I’m talking nonsense.” ‘
Haddish added, “Why is this lady attacking me?” You talk about what’s happening, something’s coming, don’t worry.’
When asked if she has a “Finsta,” which means a fake Instagram, Haddish replied, “I don’t know about fake Instagram, but I definitely have fake Twitter. I mean a fake X, a fake X.”
She has not revealed any further details about her fake X/Twitter account, or how long she has had it.
This also comes after she opened up about her DUI arrest in November 2023, revealing to People since then she has been both celibate and sober.
‘I’m very down to earth. I haven’t had a drink since. When I sit back and look at my life, the crazy thing that happened is because someone or myself had alcohol in their system,” she admitted.
‘This is my challenge to people. Stop drinking for six months and watch your life change,” she said.
‘You will get your taken body back, you will see that your relationships will be better and that you will no longer associate with people you are not involved with. My problem was waking up next to ugly men,” she admitted.
She added that both becoming sober and celibate “went together,” saying, “With alcohol [my mind] would just say, ‘You’re hot, let’s just do it.’
