The woman behind the “that son of a bitch over there isn’t real” epic has been revealed to be a 38-year-old marketing executive named Tiffany Gomas.
The New York Post has reported that she is a marketing executive from Dallas, Texas.
The rant on July 2 was sparked by an argument over wireless headphones, Gomas reportedly told police.
The viral incident — which occurred on Flight 1009 from Fort Worth to Orlando, Florida — saw Gomas argue with relatives she accused of stealing her AirPods.
According to official documents, she had to be taken off the plane by American Airlines personnel after the eruption.
Tiffany Gomas’s collapse was caught on video as she frantically demanded to get off a plane, claiming someone in the back of the plane wasn’t real
Passengers turned heads when she appeared to point to the back of the plane as she spoke of a man who ‘wasn’t real’
The police document states: ‘The woman then began to claim that the plane was not safe and did not want the plane to take off because she believed it would not reach its destination.
“Because of the statements, the flight attendants felt that the plane should be re-screened. (The airline manager) explained that the passenger was denied boarding and they wanted to escort her to the public side.”
Gomas was considered a “rising star” in 2017 when she was Vice President of Elevate Brand Marketing.
According to public records, she lives in a $2 million home in the Lakewood neighborhood.
The incident generated huge interest online, as Americans wondered what Gomas was referring to during her meltdown.
This is a developing story and more to come…
