A former Australian cop is suing police for giving him a ‘meltdown’ after his ‘throuple’ went out with his wife and their pole-dancing lover.
David Kowal, 38, is taking legal action against the NSW Police Department, alleging discrimination, bullying and emotional distress from senior officers due to his polygamous relationship.
He married chiropractor Loren Kowal in February 2017 before the couple became a ‘throuple’ with the romantic addition of pole dancing boxer Alana Dean in 2019.

While the Kowals remain married, Dean is said to be the girlfriend of both of them.
But when Mr. Kowal’s bosses found out he was dating two women, everything at work changed, he claims.
He says he was taken off without explanation from the cases he had been working on – which he claimed were sex-related crimes on public transport.
He also claimed “a fair amount of harassment” from his senior managers in the NSW Police Force, reports the Ozo.
Mr Kowal admitted that he then had a ‘meltdown’ at work and could not go back.
He was eventually medically discharged.
Ms Kowal claimed that her husband was so traumatized by the problems with his employer that he is unable to have sex and currently cannot have children.
She said the “harassment” he faced at work reduced his ability to do “regular daily” activities, including sex.
“The terrible timing of all of David’s mental health problems put a huge strain on this sexual part of our relationship,” she said.
Ms Kowal said her husband is unfortunately unable to have sex after the bullying he has faced. “I wouldn’t be here today” without Loren and Alana, he said (Pictured, Loren and David Kowal)
Mr Kowal claimed ‘I wouldn’t be here today’ had it not been for the two women in his life.
“It’s been quite a struggle to get normal and be normal,” he said.
Mr Kowal’s case will be heard in court from February 4.
He will be represented by Firth’s The Compensation Lawyers. NSW Police declined to comment.
